I was rooting for Kelly Pavlik to win, and I thought he had a chance, but I was thinking Miranda would win. However, because I like Pavlik I bet 62 vCash on vBookie for Pavlik to win, and 100 vCash that it would not go the distance. I was certain it wouldn't go the distance so that would cover my loss, and if Pavlik won, I would get 124 vCash because of the 2 to 1 odds. But I won both bets, and my vCash has gone from 262 (shows 100 after the 2 bets, total of 162) to over 400 after it registers.

I am now a believer in Kelly Pavlik, he's for real, he punches as hard as any middleweight. He will defeat Taylor if they clash, but I think Jermain will now decide to take his chances with an aging Joe Calzaghe instead of facing Pavlik's power.

Miranda's not overrated. He's a good fighter. But DAMN that was a fight. I knew Miranda was finished after the second round. I completely forgot he can't do **** backing up. THIS FIGHT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE MAIN EVENT. Looked like Miranda got tired and Pavlik could take all his shots. When Miranda landed bombs and Pavlik kept coming I knew Miranda wasn't gonna win. Great performance by Pavlik. BUT whatever any of u say Pavlik would not annhilate Jermain. Spinks and Pavlik are 2 different fighters, and Jermain fought with no brain tonight.

You're right, and Miranda will bounce back and challenge for a title within a year or two. What happened tonight was not because Miranda isn't a good fighter, and it wasn't because Miranda doesn't have a good chin. It was because Pavlik is an even better fighter with sledgehammer punching power.

But if Miranda had a top notch trainer like Emmanuel Steward or one of the Mayweather brothers to help him improve defensively, he would become an even better boxer, and have an excellent chance of winning a title or two.

I think Miranda may have broken Pavlik's nose and messed up his mouth (you see that blood coming out when he was celebrating the win?). Anyways, thats what boxing is about, what an awsome fight, my heart was racing the entire 7 rounds, thank you Kelly Pavlik and Edison Miranda for putting on an amazing show.

Pavlik did come with the perfect game plan and executed it to perfection. I thought if anybody was going to dominate Miranda it was because he would straight outbox him. Pavlik on the other hand went into the belly of the beast and took charge and won the fight. He took shots and was stunned at times, but that didn't stop him as he went ahead with his gameplan. He just wore down Mirand and took the fight out of him which I didn't know was possible. I give him much respect for his performance and hope he gets a shot at the title.

Miranda could beat any other middleweights out there, but no Pavilik. Simple as that. Pavilik fought Miranda's style of fight and got the better of it. Not many other fights can say they can do that. ****, I don't think any other fighter would attempt it! Now that guy has balls!
i never said he was fully exposed. More like he was shown as a one dimensional fighter. Its a hell of a dimension, but if anyone can take it away hes nothing but a tough guy.

The Thing that stuck out most in my eyes, was the fact that PAVLIK ran out into the ring.

This is a guy that wanted to fight MIRANDA more then anything. He's as brave, skilled, and hungry as fighters get.

IF ONLY JERMIAN TAYLOR COULD HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS IN HIS PRIME... TAYLORS ONLY GOT A FEW MORE FIGHTS LEFT IN HIS PRIME, LETS SEE WHAT HE DOES WITH IT.

Dodge Kelly Pavlik that's what he'll do after watching the performance Pavlik did. People can talk **** and say Taylor beat Pavlik in the amatuers. This isn't the amatuers, and Pavlik will ass-**** Taylor

I'll admit, I picked Miranda to win by a late round tko, but I said Pavlik had a great chance if he could withstand Miranda's punches and wear him down. Unfortuneately, the Taylor fight was as bad as the Pavlik fight was good.
I agree,u pretty much had the same thoughts as me,i had Pantera winning by late TKO,but i didnt count at Pavlik,i said it depends how they fight, and yes it was also the best fight ive seen live, better then Barrera-Marquez because these two hit so friggin hard! and the punches they were throwing where terrifying

And Miranda wasnt exposed,he put on a great fight but lost to the greater guy,u gota respect both fighters for doing what they did,i still think Miranda can beat Taylor,Abraham etc,but Pavlik is the better guy and the harder hitter
