WHAT A PERFORMANCE by KELLY PAVLIK!!!!!!

    He fought the perfect fight.

A great great fight that was.

I won all my bets, Kelly by KO. won 14 bucks

I thought EDISON MIRANDA was "exposed" in many ways in that fight.

Not that hes a bad fighter, cause he isn't. that would be taking away from a near perfect performance by PAVLIK.

But MIRANDA can NOT fight going backwards. He seemed clueless. And he CANNOT adjust during the fight. I dont think anybody could have stopped Pavliks right hand tonight, but MIRANDA didnt even show an attempt.

I still think MIRANDA is a great fighter, and i wouldnt call someone crazy for predicting MIRANDA in a rematch.

When Miranda goes forward he's a great fighter, going backwards he's completely different.

We all KNEW as a fact, before this fight, that MIRANDA was wild, he made mistakes technically, and he wasnt as good going backwards as he is forwards. But we all THOUGHT he had the power to balance it out.

Maybe he does have that power, and maybe Pavlik does have that chin, but i think Pavlik just hits so much harder and heavier then Miranda, and it was the difference in the fight.

Cause remember, Miranda landed 4 or 5 consecutive right hands, Pavlik didnt even move.

I've been telling people for years. I will take a smart fighter over a powerful fighter. In the end the intelligent fighter will win.

That was the case tonight. Pavlik has the size and the brain to outduel anyone. It wasn't even close tonight. Pavlik has emerg[ed] [for you critics who think he just emerged from the ranks tonight] and will take the belt from Taylor; that is if Taylor grows a set of balls.

    Cong**** Kelly Pavlik!
Thanks for putting Youngstown back on the map!

What an awsome fight, best I've ever seen, thrilling. Pavlik beat Miranda because unlike all of Miranda's other opponents, he wasn't scared of him and came straight at him, ate his punches and ****** like all hell. I'll admit, I picked Miranda to win by a late round tko, but I said Pavlik had a great chance if he could withstand Miranda's punches and wear him down. Unfortuneately, the Taylor fight was as bad as the Pavlik fight was good.

It was an awesome performance by Pavlik. I also though Miranda would win, but I thought Pavlik had a chance...however, never in a million years did I think that fight would go the way it did. Pavlik is absolutley for real, and he would give Taylor ALL he wants and then some. I really hope this fight is made.

another big problem with Miranda is that he needs to keep his left hand up...

the word "exposed" gets tossed around too much now a days.....anyways all credit goes to pavlik for sticking to his gameplan......my thought on miranda is that he never adjusted to pavlik because in his mind he's only winning his way....swinging away.....great fight.....great finish.....good to see a fighter not coast to victory....not run from a fight......two fighters in their prime head on and it sure produced....i want to see this fight again in the future.......

I favored Miranda going into this fight. But if you check in the weigh-in pics, I clearly state that I think Pavlik had a serious look in his eyes compared to the other boxers

Yeah I hate the word exposed. It's overrated on this forum. (I also hate overrated abit). Miranda wasn't really exposed, he was outgunned. Miranda could beat any other middleweights out there, but no Pavilik. Simple as that. Pavilik fought Miranda's style of fight and got the better of it. Not many other fights can say they can do that. ****, I don't think any other fighter would attempt it! Now that guy has balls!

Miranda hit Pavlik with a couple of harsh rights which kinda stunned Pavlik for a moment, but Pavlik still stuck with the game plan of backing him up to the ropes and it worked. I agree, Pavlik had balls doing that. Much props to Pavlik.
