If you check boxrec.com's all-time rankings, they have Joe Calzaghe as the #1 Super Middleweight of all time. I'm not saying they're infallible, but it's by no means ****** of them to rank him so highly.

$iN, I know you hate Calzaghe, but I happen to agree with boxrec's ranking, and I'm entitled to my opinion. It's much more ****** to tear fighters down and discredit them the way you do, than to recognize their achievements and give them credit where it's deserved. People who are always insulting and discrediting boxers are usually wimps who wouldn't have the courage to square off against an opponent in a ring.

Why would you not respect someone who has been a long-term champion, who has defended his title 20 times and who has never lost a professional boxing bout? I genuinely genuinely can not understand.

What is pathetic about not losing? Sure, beating a bunch of fighters who have never fought for titles or never won titles or had more losses than wins would be pathetic. But Calzaghe hasnt done it. This is the problem with you, your statements have hints of a fair argument in them but are littered with absolute moronism. Calzaghe's resume is not as strong as some, not as strong as it should be, but to say its 'pathetic' makes you look like an absolute joke.

That part of his argument is fair. The part that claims he is a pathetic joke who should not be respected whatsoever just because he hasnt taken as many hard fights as some other boxers (ones who invariably have a few losses to their name) is the mark of an idiot.

I've never liked it when fighters get criticized for what fighters they haven't fought. I'm sure if you asked any fighter, they want to fight champions and win belts. It's the promoters that are the problem. When a big fight isn't made, you can't put the blame on the fighters - put it on the promoters. It's unforntunate that some guys don't get those big statement fights until late in their career, but until boxing has a commission and real organization, it is always going to be a problem. I'm sure Calzaghe isn't happy that he never had a shot against big names like Hopkins or Jones earlier in his career.

He should have changed promoters if he wanted to get bigger fights. He has stayed with Warren through all the BS. I just don't see how anyone can consider Calzaghe even P4P with such a pathetic resume and having only faced one current world champion in his entire career...

Well Calzaghe will unify the belts against Mikkel Kessler, another monster.
