Mayweather does what's appropriate for the situation.

    He stands and trades.

    He rolls out.

Boxing at it's best is performed that way.
i think willie pep does more slipping and rolling than running, floyd does the opposite so there is a difference. floyd would stand and trade for a few seconds, and even if he connects flush, he doesn't have the killer instinct to follow up. watch willie against saddler, he wouldn't get black and blue if he kept running like floyd.

I've done way more than just watch Sadler.

Sandy Sadler could mug an anorexic dipped in baby oil rolling down a hill.

Check out more of Pep's fights..

I here what you're saying Bro. BUT when you say "don't get hit", the unevidable will surely happen...won't be able handle adversity when he does get hit. RJJ barely "got hit" through out the 90's, P4P great...until he GOT HIT! ain't knocking Floyd's style, he does manage to keep winning. Just that "sweet science" was ALI's thing, SSL, and even Camacho had it at one time. Floyd just make's it boring with too much running.

How far did Willie Pep move up in weight?

Just remember Floyd down in the lower weight-classes.

Some guys just don't possess a fighting instinct, rather a survival mindset. Shouldn't be rewarded.

Care to explain how he's a coward and will not face anyone in their prime??

Most of his wins comes against guys in their prime.

Most of his 130-135 wins YES... agreed...
All of his 140 and upward wins NO...With the exception of maybe Judah.. who has still never been able to make his talent work for him..

It's like Floyd is stuck in 2002.. and all his fights since then have been against guys whose last good days were 2002...

Take Oscar or Mosley for example.. Fighting these guys today is kinda pointless.. he had a chance 5 years ago when they AND him were both at the top of their games.. Now he is still at the top of his game.. But Oscar and Shane aren't..

Another fine example is Felix Trinidad...Why fight a guy who is retired??
When you can fight a fresh facsimile who is undefeated?(Cotto)

Then I hear an Argument about Paul Williams and Him being the guy who will beat Mayweather.. but that ..THAT fight is still 2 years away.. and then IT WONT BE FAIR FOR FLOYD BECAUSE HE WILL BE 32..!!!!

Can You not see the Hypocracy????
