Stfu. You're just a bitter Whitaker fan who's mad that Floyd did something you boy couldn't.

hit and not get hit...get it into your ****ing brains, thats the whole idea of boxing, when floyd "runs",he has automatically mastered half of boxing and thats not being hit.

the other half is hitting people, which to be brutally honest im quite sure he does that quite often seing as its his JOB.

**** OFF WITH THE FLOYD RUNS THREAD THATS BOXING IF YOU DONT LIKE IT UFC 71 IS DUE SOON.
        Yep. I agree Azza.

Willie Pep was a similiar fighter in regards to the evasive rollout stype stuff..

Mayweather does what's appropriate for the situation.

        He stands and trades.

        He rolls out.

Boxing at it's best is performed that way.

Yes everybody acknowledges that Mayweather moves around the ring and most of his recent fights haven't been "exciting" like some other boxing. On the other hand some people enjoy seeing good technical boxing part of which is using your footwork (especially if you are the smaller man). If he was really "running" like you say then why would he rest against the ropes where he could be hit instead of continually moving?

What is your opinion...that moving arounds is running? If not then please tell me who a fighter is that incorporates movement without falling into the category of "runner."

Miranda and Calzaghe both don't run away from their opponents in the ring atleast.

Right but Miranda is a come forward pressure style fighter. Calzaghe also really doesn't employ much footwork. Anybody that actually fights in a similar style but doesn't qualify as a runner? See if you want to call what Cory Spinks did in the last round against Karmazin or what Winky did in last round against Taylor...that is running. They did not want any engagement for the entire round. Mayweather (imo) moves selectively and just fights when he wants to...that is called controlling the pace of the fight. I understand it may not be the pace you most enjoy but give the guy a little credit.
