NO, he is not. He is not the best fighter in boxing, and he is defo not the best fighter to represent boxing.
Is Kermit Cintron the right man?

I think it says a lot that people believe Cintron could be competitive against the UFC champion. I doubt it would be the same vice versa.Comment

Turning down Cintron shows how shrewd White is. With Folyd, if Sherk won he beat the best pound-for-pound boxer. If Sherk lost, he lost to the best pound-for-pound boxer. Now with Cintron, if Sherk wins Cintron is not near as famous as Floyd and if Sherk loses he loses to a not so famous boxer.
I do think White should man up though and accept Cintron's challenge. He can't expect to just pick and choose the boxer HE WANTS to fight Sherk. Also, Floyd is alot better matchup for Sherk than Cintron is, although I would bet on Sherk in both fights. Cintron has a better chance, but IMO he is still the underdog.Comment

MMA doesn't need Cintron to make them look bad. Every time they put on a show the sheer incompetence is bad enough.Comment

I've been waiting in the wings for a while for this. UFC dudes gotta wake up and quit saying....Ooo...wah wah Boxers could never last in MMA and we've already seen it. Ya...old or straight non contenders. Cintron will literally end Sherks career. You kidding me?Comment

Cintron has the skill, but does he have the will?
