  • Arthur Abraham's jaw is healed apparently since he has a fight on the 26th

    against Sebastian Demers, 20-0 with 9 ko's.

at least he's fighting guys who are undefeated, will be interesting to see whether or not his jaw has made a full recovery.

Glad to see him back and hope his jaw holds up so that once Miranda disposes of Pavlik and Taylor they can have a unification rematch......And then his Jaw will be broken again.

Abraham did legitimately win the fight between him and Miranda inside the ring.

What happened out of the ring, with the ref, the politics, and all that can be questioned.

BUT YES, definitely on the score cards Abraham won. He showed more heart, more balls, and more desire to win, and he did so.

so what you're saying is that abraham didn't originally quit the fight

With 5 bogus point deductions....yes Abraham won but in all of my years of watching Boxing I have never seen a ref twice in one fight take 2 points at a time from a fighter.......that was bull**** and also Abraham clearly said NO he did not want to continue when Neuman asked him....fight over TKO for Miranda anywhere else on gods green earth.....besides all of that yes Abraham showed great courage and heart for staying in there the rest of the fight even if he did run most of the time.Miranda easily won that fight anywhere else in the world whether it be by the TKO he deserved or on points.

You remind me of an old movie with Humphrey Bogart in it called 'The Harder They Fall'. Bogart plays the role of a guy that people in the boxing world believe, a good writer and mobsters influence him to lie about this huge heavyweight named Toro Moreno. The guy was terrible, no punch and a glass chin but they got him fights, and fixed the fights. Even the tough fights that were impossible to fix, they found a way for Toro to win. Eventually they got to the champion, 'Buddy Brennan'. he gave toro an ass whooping not unlike the one Abraham took from Miranda. the guy's jaw was busted in several different places. to say abraham won that fight in any kind of fashion is absolutely silly. It's a hardcore case of the 'continue to support abe like he's undefeated even though i know he really lost vs miranda' syndrome.
