floyd is top 3 all time. He has done what no other fighter before him has done.. 5 for 5 undefeated..beating 4 Hofers to win those belts. you may not recognize his greatness but he has surpassed ray leonard, hearns, hagler and duran in terms of accomplishments.

but little floyd will never get to go to divisions only HEARNS was able to make it (welterweight,middleweight,light heavy,cruiserweight) sadly he didn't kept those belts. he beated each champion who holded the belts for each of those divisions.

For what he did as a lightweight yes... as a welter or higher he hasn't done much other then the split decision against DLH. Even though I don't like the guy it would be a shame for him to retire because he has the potential to be ranked real high on the all time greatest list.. If only he would quit bull****ing and fight everyone out there.. DLH is a step but its not enough since before that he hadn't had a win that big for like two or some years.

as of now he is not top 50 but like you said its a shame he retired without really testing himself and i dont wanna see him come out of retirement because he will just do the same **** run jab, run jab grab the arm push jab 1 combo a round.

but i think of it this way Boxing is better off without him, he was bad for boxing and bad for the sport, he never gave the fans what they wanted and was arrogant and greedy.

Floyd ran his whole fight even willie pep traded and fought inside with defensive savy look at his footage with sandy saddler.

floyd ran like a girl and jabbed and threw 2 combos per round later in his career to secure a big payday so he could gamble more.

let him make love to his money we dont need that boring ass in boxing he will scare people away because he is not a exciting guy.
