I feel that he is , I mean he might be able to go out there and beat a few good fighters, but great fighters? I am not too sure, I voted yes, he is past his prime, now its just he's ring smarts keeping him in there

I think JLC is not as potent as he was a few years back but he is still a world class operator. No doubt the many wars are starting to take its toll but I still think he'l beat hatton. I dont know what Ricky Hatton has done to you in the past but I think you need to cut him a bit of slack, he's left the comforts and riches of home to try and further his career by taking a very dangerous fight, lay off him till after the fight eh.

$in. I'd like you to answer my question or to admit that the only reason you make polls are to back up your opinion and if they dont...you ignore/discredit them. Cos that strikes me as being a little pathetic.

we do not know until we will see.

Hatton and Mayweather are the two most hated fighters in the sport.

They just cannot pick the right fight, can they?

I only discredited the Mayweather-Castillo poll because it was just a bunch of alts voting for Castillo. The people that were actually posting were 75% in favor of Mayweather...

One thing for sure is he didn't look like the Castillo of old in his last fight. Either he got old or the guy in front of him was that good. Also Castillo looked unmotivated and disinterested. At one point in his last fight his corner said the fight was very close and Castillo responded by saying "I don't give a ****". Hopefully this wont be the case against Hatton because he will lose unless he brings 100% of his will and then some.

I wont be able to answer that question until I see him in against Hatton. Either way you look at it who ever wins this fight deserves full credit.

Castillo is as good as hes ever been. Maybe when he beat PBF (in some peoples mind) they overrated Castillo because PBF appreciaters wanted to believe Castillo was great and that is the reason why he pushed PBF so hard.
Maybe Castillo was overrated? The Castillo who fought PBF is the one that will be facing Hatton.
Certainly not more past it than DLH. Just because he was stopped by Corrales doesnt make him past it. He beat Corrales in his next fight. Castillo knows he needs to be in shape for Hatton and will be in the best shape he can possibly be.
