lol, williams has no chin, yes he does

he prooved that against tyson... tyson bombarded him with a hell of a battering and he stayed up

and if you think its 'the end of that' then why raise a topic saying lewis has you thinking, do you change your opinions on boxing cause of what you read within 8 posts, your boxing knowledge cant be up to much if you do

and by the way, williams has been victorious with one arm before so he has enough heart to beat the jumped up womans love bean up

    lololol

Had tyson been 6 inches taller williams would have been out....Watch the fight again, Tyson rocked williams and williams was clearly out and just hang on (good move on his part) and rested on tysons shoulders....Now how would a 6'2 Danny Williams fighting a 6'7-8 vitali klitschko be able to lean on his shoulders, especially with vitalis backing up style????? Tyson comes forward Vitali backs up, big difference....The size will make this fight....

The fact that tyson messed his knee up took his power away, because the legs is the base of where the power comes from.....

Im not changing my mind about anything but their is always "what ifs", I just think if williams fights klitschko the way he fought tyson it wont work because tyson comes forward klitschko does not and the height and reach advantage of klitschko will be the proving point in this fight.....

Like I said Williams was a nobody on this board before he beat tyson, because people just recognize he beat tyson not a tyson that is past his prime and injured...

Fact of the matter was Williams was out on his feet when tyson knocked him and had he had not that reach advantage and height over tyson he would have been out most likely...That same style wont work with vitali....

if tyson was six inches taller what kind of argument is that?

if he had been ten years younger, if he hadnt hurt his knee if n buts and maybes?

sorry spinxjinx I like you mate, i like chatting with ya bro but thats a silly argument, tyson isnt 6 inches taller and Vitali doesnt hit as hard as Tyson so its not a comparable comparsion, comparably

Point taken, but the statement Im trying to make is that vitalis height difference will make the fight....That is just my 2 cents on the whole matter.....

Best quote anyone could state at this point regarding lewis and klitschko and other fighters....

"Lennox Lewis gives advice to these fighters from retirement and then sends them to me," Klitschko said. "It didn't help Corrie Sanders. Let's see if it helps Danny Williams, but I doubt it."

I like this quote by Vitali. It says alot about how Lewis is handling himself in retirement towards Klitschko. Lewis is hungry for someone to defeat Vitali because it's obvious he has a hard-on for Vitali. My question to Lewis would be instead of backing every heavyweight out there against Vitali, why don't you just come out of retirement one last time, train your ass off one last time and give Vitali his rematch. Prove without a shadow of a doubt that you can defeat this man soundly and end the smack-talking that has been going on since you retired.

The retirement earlier this year of former heavyweight champion Lewis left a large gap in the division and he believes Williams has the ability to capitalise by taking the title from Klitschko, who he knows well after knocking out the Ukrainian in June 2003.

The fight is scheduled for December 11. No venue has been officially announced.

"Danny has three ways to beat Vitali," said Lewis. "He can go after cuts around his eyes. I exposed him as a fighter who cuts up badly.

"He should also go to Vitali's body, where he is vulnerable. Also, if Danny keeps his cool he could outbox Klitschko and win a decision."

After those recent statements, it has got me thinking....What if Williams does beat vitali? Is that another stab in the heavyweight gut? I mean everyone recognizes vitali as the main champ and if williams beats klitschko will we hold him as the "real" champ? I know people will be all over his testicles after beating tyson and then vitali so people will ride his **** no doubting that one. Williams says he will fight vitali the same way he fought tyson, which has got me thinking aint noway williams is winning this fight w/ that style, in the tyson fight he left his head wide open and was out on his feet when tyson cold ****ed him but held on to a smaller tyson and vitali is 6 inches taller then williams so it wont be as easy to rest his arms on the giant......

What is everyones opinion? If williams wins who is our champ?

My pick is Byrd, Byrd has only been beating by very credible opponents and only been knocked out by the hardest hitting heavyweight since tyson in his prime and that was with a seperated rib......

                Anyone?

If Williams beat's the champ, then he is the champ. Not that I consider Vitali the champ in the first place. The heavy wt. division is a complete joke and hopefully within the next few yr's some of the younger generation will be ready to step up and make it a more exciting division...one can ONLY hope!!

Vitali has potential but his style worries me once he fights a good boxer....
