This is a terrible blow for boxing, not many guys like Chico ever come around. i remember after failing to make weight how apologetic he was and even apologizing for judging castillo. This guy was a class act and was one of the few good things in an industry that is so corrupt. I am so sad for him and his family, and i am in such shock. I am reading this over and over and it just doesn't seem real. This guy was one of the few guys that you new loved his fans and alwasy wanted to please the fans. There was nothing fake about him. This is dark day for boxing and he will be sadly missed. WE LOVE YOU CHICO!!!!!!!!

It's so ****ing weird. When the showed the clip on 24/7 of Diego getting pissed about his corner stopping the fight with Mayweather, I thought Gatti didn't act like that. And I SWEAR TO GOD I was going to start a thread about Diego having the biggest heart bar none in boxing (to my knowledge anyways).

I am going to go to the site of the accident tomorrow to pay my respects, leave some flowers and my boxing gloves in honor of chico... this is real sad.. i can't believe it.
