no one should win a fight off punch percentage....and they gave PBF way too much credit in that respect also, scoring shots that were clearly caught.

But wud it be right to say DLH punches had more effect by what he said. He knew he hurt PBF.
And punch stats dont mean much. Could mean that PBF landed most of his in a particular round. Doesnt have to mean that PBF landed more over the course of 12 rounds.

Dorian, take a good look at the punch Mayweather is "landing" in your "signature" pic, because he got credit for a "punchstats powerpunch landed" for that very punch - it's placed pretty much where the majority of Floyds' punches landed, on the gloves of DeLaHoya. In Mayweathers' defense, I have to say the pic at least shows he did indeed actualy throw a punch in a round....

Mayweather landed some good shots most of them making contact all Oscar did all night was throw sloppy bombs and miss, get countered

I will say this, I DID feel like Floyd won the fight, but after further reflection it was because of the absolute inactivity of a gassed oscar for several rounds near the end of the fight and HBO single-mindedness.

The problem is though, Oscar landed the more meaningful shots and pressed the fight. Floyd only landed significant shots(or any shots at all for that matter) for at most 6 rounds. He hit his jab maybe 4 times all night, but they counted it every time he threw it.
