Mayweather is boring because like what someone had said he's a surgeon performing an operation. He's strictly about the boxing. Like someone said about Ward and Jones Jr, Ward is like a maniac with an axe and Jones Jr is Zorro with his rapier.

is all about the boxing scoring system, back in the good old days,
no way mayweather would beat the champion with that lame performance

Well it goes to show Oscar can't compete in the latter rounds with his 'age' and other natural issues. No offence to you or any other Oscar fan, I dont find him to be one of the ATG's...

What I get from reading this thread is that many people saw it both ways......There are two ways at looking at most things including a boxing match.Nobody is "Right" or "wrong".So many people completely agreed and had good points on why either Floyd or Oscar could or should have won.I personally think a draw would have been fair because neither fighter really took the fight from the other but as far as being effective Floyd eeked it out IMO......115-113 and I wanted Oscar to KO PBF trust me but I am being rational the way I saw it.

I scored it 117-112 Mayweather. Rounds 2,4,7 to De La Hoya, 8 tied, the rest to Floyd. If you have watched the fight more than once and had it anything closer than 115-113 Mayweather it is time to come out of the closet as an Oscarsexual to the world. Anyone who can give round 12 to Oscar is delusional and deserves to have their viewing privledges revoked! Floyd controlled it for 2 1/2 minutes landing some great shots in fact it was one of his better rounds, then Oscar has one little flurry without really landing jack yet many ****s have given him it!

This fight reminded me a lot of the Hagler-Leonard fight as very close fight that i had 115-114 for Sugar. Many people argued that Hagler deserved to win as he was the aggressor coming forward quite like De La Hoya on Saturday. True but Hagler actually LANDED some effective shots during those middle rounds and looked to have Ray in trouble. It also reminded me of the fight as Ray was in a prime round stealing mode that night landing some late flurrys and combos that put his opponents work in the shade quite like De La Hoya last night, although on review not so. Leonard ****ing LANDED with those combos!

Mayweather did have many shots picked off by Oscar but still did the most effective work and landed the most and the better punches and controlled the fight more than Oscar.

Floyd won the fight. I don't see how someone thought Oscar won. A draw would even be suprising to me.
