Im A Little Worried For Floyd

Im the biggest Floyd fan there is but this fight has always worried me. P4P Floyd is easily the better fighter and at 147 I thought Floyd would kill him but at 154 its a different ball game. I have always felt that Floyd is moving up in weight way too quickly. Now he's fighting at 154 when he's never even weighed over 150 in his whole life. In the ring Floyd will probally still be 150 while Oscar will be 170 but we probally wont know for sure because Oscar is too much of a ***** to let the public ever see his ring weight.

Oscar is still an elite fighter who still has very good speed & power. Then you add to that all the stipulations Oscar made for this fight and he gets the clear advantage. I honestly dont know what to expect from this fight. Part of me thinks Floyd will just flat out kill him but part of me thinks that the weight & power factor will be a huge shock to Floyd's system. I just dont know how his body will respond to the weight. Will he have blazing speed and be even stronger or will it make him slower and he will look more stiff? I try to watch tapes of there last couple of fights and I still go back & forths. I think if Floyd fights like he did against Baldy then he will be in serious trouble. He will definatly not be able to pot shot Oscar to a victory. I think to win this fight Floyd has to go back to the way he fought Chico. Being very active, darting in & out, and landing blistering combos. Not running but having constant movement. Then when the time is right he should go toe to toe with Oscar. People think Floyd cant fight toe to toe with Oscar but thats ******. They make it seem like Floyd always runs but thats a joke. In like 7 of his last 8 fights he's been the one walking the opponent down and he's arguably the best "in-fighter" in the game. He loves to go into the pocket. I think he can do some work on Oscar in the pocket.

Floyd has been training like a maniac on 24/7. He's always been a training freak but it seems like he's even doing more now to makeup for the weight. Part of me thinks that is great but another part of me thinks he's doing too much and could leave it all in the gym. He might be burning himself out and look completely flat in the ring. The other huge part to me is still Senior. I still dont like the fact that he was in there camp all that time and now he's going back to Oscar. I just have a bad feeling that he's telling Oscar the whole game plan that Roger setup. What if they get in the ring and Oscar knows whats coming? If Senior did that then he would be the biggest *****. Why would he go back to being good with Oscar anyway? Here's the biggest money fight in history & Oscar kicks him out? I would never talk to him again.

All in all Im worried but I think my boy will show up. He always puts on a show on the big stage. All I know is that the haters better hope he loses because this is basically his last shot to lose. If he fights again then you know it will be at 147 and all this fight did was speed up the process of him getting used to the 147 pound weight. In his next fight back there he will look like a full fledge WW and no one will be able to beat him. The only fight left in his career that would scare me is Mosley but only if its his next fight. I have always said that Floyd would definatly beat Shane because he's the much better defender, is smarter, and can adapt better during a fight. I would worry though if Floyd fought him in his next fight because Shane would be all business while I think Floyd would still be celebrating over the Oscar victory and probally would be on alot of shows. It might be the only time in his career where he would not be fully focused. He still would be good enough to beat anyone else though and he would be good enough to beat Mosley any other time but if its next then it would worry me some.

I agree somewhat. But it would not be smart to stand within Ocar's for long. Because Oscar is by far more accurate and more calculated with his punches than Baldi.

My instinct tells me Floyd will dominate. But honestly with all the hype I want it to be competitive and I believe it will. Judah landed a few big shot against Mayweather. More noteably it was a short right counter that sent Floyd's glove to the canvas. I'm not saying Oscar will KO Mayweather but if Floyd slips up a little on his defense I could see Oscar scoring a knockdown.

You need to be more worried about Oscar buddy, Floyd isnt gonna stand in front of Oscar to let him throw his little gay flurry of combos. Oscar will be tired and lose the first 6 outta 8 rounds, then he tries to get the ko making himself look even more foolish as Floyd sticks his tongue out

Size isnt a factor they have very similair measurments. It even seems like Mayweather has the bigger build to me.Mayweather also has the bigger and stronger legs, which he will need because Oscar will be heavier at fight time. Just that Mayweather hasnt let himself go like Oscar did. Both started at 130 and are an an inch and a half away in height. Pretty close to me.

This is yet Floyd's biggest fight. Im not saying he might be scared or anything, but this is just another BIG fight for De La Hoya.

De La Hoya fought Vargas,Trinidad,Mosley,Quartey.. Those were all big fights that everyone was watching and knew about! Espeacially the Trinidad and Vargas bouts.

Mayweather fought good fighters but lacked the hype of being great fights such as De La Hoya has had. The whole world knew about De La Hoyas fights and made them big.

Now Floyd has the world behind him, you think that could have any effect on him? Plus he's in with a much stronger guy? De La Hoya is fast also, but not as fast as Mayweather.

I'm only worried about Floyd's speed with his legs at this weight. If that's still good which I think it is, he will whoop Oscar's ass.

Floyd by decision in a chess match. This ain't no fight of the decade.

I just don't see Floyd being the one to forget to speed train a lot while trying to bulk up. I think he probably prepared his body correctly for the weight change.
