When you are talented and back it up, people wont like you,

Dont worry, when he quits after this fight and we have to sit through another Virgil Hill- Henry Maske 3 fight,

the bitches are gonna start flapping their ******as again saying:

'boxing is dying, what we gonna do?'

    lmao.

They massacre the best fighter in the sport to the point of retirement, and then wonder why boxing is being challenged by other sports.

    lol.

Floyd is far from the savior of boxing and if he did retire boxing would not go under. Boxing is gonna hurt when Oscar retires beacause there will be no more majo draw or anyone other than hard core fans that will watch. The casuak fan will not care to tune in after Oscar retires. There will be no more major attraction. After Tyson, it has been Oscar, and after Oscar stops fighting there is no one on the horizon

Hey tech me again. People don't dislike him because he's good they dislike him because of his attitude. Plus his fights lately haven't been very interesting.

Yeah, ive commented in this multiple times in many other threads.

I judge Floyd on his Skills, not his character,

          I find him quite funny,

I think he brings attention to boxing as a whole,

Think ALL his fights are exciting, cos i think he is so skilled,

Boxing will be worse off when the best fighter in the world calls it a day,

people should remind themselves of this next time they see Briggs and Ibragimov on PPV. which will be very soon i believe, according to boxing 4 real, Cedric Kushner is doing it on PPV.

          lol.

4- Floyd's Attitude. Floyd is now hated for the way he acts and his trash talk. Again, he's the only guy in the sport who is ripped for this. This sport has been known for that forever but yet he is hated for it. People love listening to Hopkins and others do it but they rip Floyd. They try to make the Euro's seem like good guys & heros but all of them talk smack. All Calzaghe does is trash talk. Have you guys heard the things Hatton and the Tszyu camp says? Pantera is loved now partly because of his trash talk. Everyone loved Mayorga when he came out but when its Floyd then its horrible. I just dont get that.

5- Floyd is boring. People wonder why the sport is dying but all you have to do is look withing. Our media gets upset that the America doesnt care about boxing but yet they constantly rip our best fighter and they rip all guys who fight like him. In every single sport Defense is praised and is the #1 sole reason for titles. In boxing it is still the biggest reason yet media & fans rip it. No one wants to watch boring guys like Floyd, Hopkins, Winky, & so on because they practice the art of boxing. To hit and not be hit. Instead of our media loving to see techniqal brillance, they instead call these guys boring, and basically right articles telling fans not to watch them or telling them that they will be boring to see. They love all these millions of one hit wonders who come in with a flash and are never heard from again after a few fights because all they had was a punch or Offense. Bottom line is the media should be boosting Floyd up and praising his all around game instead of calling him boring.

My final thought is we are wintessing one of the greatest fighters of All Time wether you like it or not and we spend our time ripping him. In 20 years there will be kids hearing about his name and I bet anything thats when he will get his just due. When those people look back & watch his tapes. We get mad at the way he acts but yet dont take responsibility for creating him. If you treated him better then maybe he wouldnt rebel. Why does everyone have to smile & kiss your ass to get respected. This sport isnt based off that. He doesnt have to act like MJ to be great. If thats what it takes to sell tickets then I wouldnt want to see him do it. Its B.S.

floyd only recently started acting like this
but he was getting the hate way before he
              played the villian.

              every great fighter has hate
any person ontop of their game has
hate towards them no matter they
              good or bad.
