I agree, guys like Miranda, Pavlik, Abraham or Duddy will never beat Taylor.

Seriously, Spinks, man why? It is with this next fight that Taylor is losing some respect with fans. I can rattle off names like Arthur Abraham, Edison Miranda, Kelly Pavlik, Javier Castillejo, Winky Wright, and hell even John Duddy who make better opponents than Cory Spinks for the middleweight title. I mean even as undeserving as Duddy is, he at least beat some middleweights, unlike Spinks. I know champions in the past have moved up in weight to challenge for titles, but Spinks is just a titlist and isn’t the best fighter at that weight. In reality, there isn’t even a true champion at light middleweight. That is the grievance many have with Taylor, is that he's fighting another light middleweight who doesn’t deserve the shot when there are a multitude of middleweights who do.
