Haye went all out in the first 3 rounds, exhaustion TKO'd him.

Haye hasnt got an aura of invincibility about himself but he sure can acheive something as a heavyweight. If James Toney can then David Haye can!
Its funny how David Haye went all out on old man Thompson and couldnt stop the guy but can stop a big heavyweight in 1st round. Theres no exact science to explain that really is there?

haye is much stronger at HW then at CW. he said himself that he is not likely to be as destructive as he did last night when he goes back down to cruiser for the title fight.

not having to make weight should ease the stamina issues.

Yep i know but that guy was a big guy with weight advantage you would have thought he could take a punch even though haye hit harder. Old man Thompson could.

he's had only 1 fight as a heavyweight and has been stopped already by a cruiserweight. what makes you think he can take a big heavyweight punch? I sure wouldnt get my hopes on him just yet

its not quite as black n white as that. a cruiserweight can ko him so a heavyweight can ko him?

if haye gets himself in the same kind of situation as he did against thompson then yes he will get ko'd. but the whole point about moving up to hw is that he won't end up exhausted and vulnerable so quickly.

and anyway...that was his 11th fight and he has learnt a lot since then.

Haye got his tactics all wrong in that fight. He got that complacency that a lot of people get at the peak of their career when they think that they can knock anyone out. He pelted Thompson for 3 rounds and wore himself out, had no plan B and fell to peices.

Its a valuable lesson to learn and a mistake that I'm sure he'll not make again. But it is not an indication of his potential quality.

he's achieved a lot more than audley has and ever will. there is no comparison of the two careers.

while haye was fighting an ex world champ and a world champ in his 10th and 11th fights, and then winning the euro title in his 16th fight, audley has failed to beat anyone good. ever. except the unpredictable danny williams on short notice

He's alot like wlad klitschko. He tires himself out too easily. Except wlad has learned from his past mistakes.
