....What about Pongsaklek Wonjongkam? He's closing in on 20 defenses of his WBC Flyweight strap, and he only fights **** fighters in Thailand?

But recently his division has come up with some very good fighters. Vic Darchinyan, Jorge Arce was his mandatory, Koki Kameda, and now Rodel Mayol is a flyweight.

The biggest name I can find on his record is Hussein Hussein, who is now nowhere to be found.

          hmmm... let me think...

          1) Jeff Lacy doesn't suck

          2) Mario Veit doesn't suck

          3) Chris Eubank doesn't suck

          4) Robin Reid doesn't suck

          5) Sakio Bika doesn't suck*even though people want to make him out to be so it makes joe look worse*

          6) Byron Mitchell doesn't suck

          7) Richie Woodhall doesn't suck

          8) David Starie isn't great, but he's not that bad of a fighter either

And those are only 8 I named who aren't bad fighters. It's funny, once joe beats a fighter everyone takes credit away from joe... ****ing ridiculous. These people he fought had the balls to get in the ring with him, unlike most people. It's only recently all these asswipes have been calling joe out, years ago none of them had the balls to call him out, not even kessler. And most of the people calling Calzaghe out want a ridiculous amount of money to fight him.

43 have tried, and 43 have failed.

I think it speaks for itself that you have to defend him by saying his opponents don't "suck". You're right they don't suck, but they also have no business fighting for a belt either. The sad thing about the whole situation is that Calzaghe can actually beat some great fighters if he ever grows a pair.

It's unbelievable some of the guys that Wonjongkam's fighting. I think he has fought guys with less than ten fights. I know he is probably comfortable in Thailand racking up wins against lousy opponents, but at least everyonce in a while fight a real challenger.

Maybe a real challenger would kick Wonjongkams ass.

The sad thing is that he is probably going to stay in Thailand and countinue to fight mediocre opponent, and defende his title more then 20 times perhaps break Joe Louis even. I havent seen him fight, but from what i heard is that he has talent and is not a bad fighter. To bad we will never see how good he really is.
