Alright maybe im exaggerating, but while the KO was impressive, it wasnt a shock or anything. If you knew both fighters going in, you knew the outcome.

And in not saying Pacman is a bad fighter. He certainly deserves to be up there. But Both Marquez's were much more impressive in there recent outings.

Pacman Ko8 Solis <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< JMM UD Barrera OR RM TKO7 Vazquez
so you base your list on recent fights?

PAC steamrolledTKO MAB while JMM tastes the floor b4 squeezing a decision, and since JMM's victory is more recent you think he's better p4p?

if thats how you do it then fine. after all you can do it whatever u like

And against Solis, he stopped the guy... sure... but its NOT the performance that gets you top 2 p4p in the world.

I thought JMM's highly impressive (and in my eyes) dominant win of Marco Antonio Barrera, was comeing out fight of sorts. Something that makes him #3 in the world.

And Rafael Marquez's win over Israel Vazquez (which i used to think shouldn't have gained Marquez too much credit because of the reason of quitting) is another brilliant performance that has him all the way up at my #2 P4P

Winky Will probably take the 2 slot if he beats Hopkins, and that would bump PACQUIOA down the 5.

Am i like, alone on this or is someone in agreement?

And its not JUST because of Pacquioas "so-so" performance, i just thought the Marquez brothers put on far better performances, against FAAAAR better fighters

do u remember you p4p list before JMM-MAB? can u post it and compare it to your recent one.

Im sure you wont look that ridiculous

        Pac is a STRONG #2 P4P.

hahaha it doesnt apply to them LOL

if pac beat a fighter he's washed up
if someone else beat that fighter he's a rejuvenated fighter.

Obviously this is a bait thread geared towards PAC fans.

I personally don't pay any attention to boxing's P4P list. The whole idea of a P4P list is if all these fighters were in the same weight class who would come out on top, obviously this will never happen, it's just a mythical matchup of sorts. Unless a fighter, such as PAC, decides to move up in weight and challenge the premier fighters in those divisions, as PAC has already done.

On paper I would pick Rafa over PAC, but basing it on his win against Israel Vasquez(lol). Do you guys even know what Israel Vasquez does when he's not under the lights, inside a ring trading punches w/ Rafa? He moonlights as PAC's sparring partner. PAC abuses Israel in their sparring sessions. How do I know this? 'Cause I've witnessed it up close, sure it's just sparring, but believe me it gets heated too, due to the fact that PAC's hordes of fans are there watching like it's some underground fight. A win over Vasquez is nothing to get crazy over. The way PAC and JMM beat MAB were pretty lopsided. Atleast MAB had some moments w/ JMM, but PAC was bouncing his fists on MAB's dome like Bonds during batting practice.

JMM fans act like as if it was some surprise the way he beat MAB, lets just put it this way. If this JMM - MAB matchup would've taken place 8-10 yrs. ago, JMM may have made it look much easier in beating MAB.

Pacv doesn't even belong to the top 10. If he wins in his next fight then he frogleaps to number 1... in philippine congress that is.

I have to handicap Manny because of the ratio of power the body can carry vs. the division he's in.

He's like Tyson in the sense that his power helps him both tactically, and physcologically.. But Tyson had to face guys that could dislodge his head - as some of them later did..

I give Manny all the credit a man who has speed and power deserves.

But he's in the cartoon knockout division.

He has gotten away with run and gun tactics that would not fly in the higher weight classes.

When we talk P4P the idea is; what if Manny was 160? 175?

I don't think he could survive with the heavier caliber incoming as well.

He gets hit too much jumping in.

He would have carried a much higher loss by KO percentage higher up.

He's a cheat in the sense that little guys can't hurt you as much with those kind of shots unless you're Manny himself, Hamed, ect.

                  He knows that.

                  Manny is a wild fighter.

since p4p is SUBJECTIVE. its all a matter of preference. Many boxing sites consider manny as their number one because they prefer his aggression and power over PBF's superior technical skills and out of this world defense.

right now ( counting only boxing sites ) its like 65% PBF and 35% PAC.

just one thing. IFyou dont consider PAC @ at least #3 you're either an idiot or a hater.
Good post miron.......most of the P4Pounders earned it....it took 3 years for Pac to achieved a number 2...now some *******s wants to take a number 3 or 2 spot because of 1 lucky decision win....LMAO!! BY the way Barrera won that fight with JMM. The ****ing judges don't know how to score jabs. Idiots.
