If Erik is washed up, then PAC did the washing!Erik was never hurt by Raheem.Just a case of bad style match up.Go back to round 11 of that fight and you will see Morales purposely fighting with one hand.Definitely not a sign of a hurt fighter. As mentioned before, Erik was never legitimately KD'ed in his entire career until PAC put him down in the canvass a total of 5 times.

    JMM/MAB/Erik = 10 KD's from PAC
    Pacman = 0 KD's from the Mexicans

    Looks like P4P for me....LOL! ;P

      obviously...

IF you go by ur logic, then Sugar Ray Leonard would have been P4P#1 when he made his comeback in '97, because he had beaten DURAN HAGLER and HEARNS in the past... lol

I personally don't pay any attention to boxing's P4P list. The whole idea of a P4P list is if all these fighters were in the same weight class who would come out on top, obviously this will never happen, it's just a mythical matchup of sorts. Unless a fighter, such as PAC, decides to move up in weight and challenge the premier fighters in those divisions, as PAC has already done.

On paper I would pick Rafa over PAC, but basing it on his win against Israel Vasquez(lol). Do you guys even know what Israel Vasquez does when he's not under the lights, inside a ring trading punches w/ Rafa? He moonlights as PAC's sparring partner. PAC abuses Israel in their sparring sessions. How do I know this? 'Cause I've witnessed it up close, sure it's just sparring, but believe me it gets heated too, due to the fact that PAC's hordes of fans are there watching like it's some underground fight. A win over Vasquez is nothing to get crazy over. The way PAC and JMM beat MAB were pretty lopsided. Atleast MAB had some moments w/ JMM, but PAC was bouncing his fists on MAB's dome like Bonds during batting practice.

JMM fans act like as if it was some surprise the way he beat MAB, lets just put it this way. If this JMM - MAB matchup would've taken place 8-10 yrs. ago, JMM may have made it look much easier in beating MAB.
i agree this is a bait.terrible rating to the thread starter.

I don't know what your logic is meng. Pac beat Barrera worse that JMM did. JMM did not perform well againts Chris John, Tursdak, Jaca; and Pacquiao similarly with Solis and Larios who he really messed around with to get airtime between rounds in the Philippines and make fans happy. Whats your point bro? Its seems like you are a classic example of a hater by just looking at one side of the equation. In this case you are downgrading Pacquiao but praising Marquez for his recent performance. Whatever dude. I hope that fight happens already so all you mutha ****ers can git to eating crow.

And against Solis, he stopped the guy... sure... but its NOT the performance that gets you top 2 p4p in the world.

I thought JMM's highly impressive (and in my eyes) dominant win of Marco Antonio Barrera, was comeing out fight of sorts. Something that makes him #3 in the world.

And Rafael Marquez's win over Israel Vazquez (which i used to think shouldn't have gained Marquez too much credit because of the reason of quitting) is another brilliant performance that has him all the way up at my #2 P4P

Winky Will probably take the 2 slot if he beats Hopkins, and that would bump PACQUIAO down to 5.

Am i like, alone on this or is someone in agreement?

And its not JUST because of Pacquioas "so-so" performance, i just thought the Marquez brothers put on far better performances, against FAAAAR better fighters
pacquiao down to 5! you are so ******! pac-hater

I've had Pac at #1 since the second Morales fight. His run of opp from 2003-now dwarfs Mayweather (I don't include DLH yet because the fight hasn't happened. Factor in his being the only fighter in history to win lineal world titles at 12 and 26 and that's enough. If Floyd had fought, as offered, Johnston instead of Sosa and N'Dou, or Casamayor instead of Bruseles and Mitchell, I might feel different.

                      Purely against their classes:

#1 Mayweather at 147 and 154 (Hoya has a chance but he'll likely get out boxed)
                      #2 Calzaghe (Kessler)
                      #3 Pacquiao (JMM and Guzman)
