Mecca.
Why Mecca?
Mecca the holiest city in Islam.
What the **** has that got to with America and boxing, even in a metaphorical sense.

The truth is it will happen more in Europe then In America! I have seen Foriegn fighters get gift decisions in America like casamayor...
in Britain they want there fighter to win at all costs.
The only way you could win is by Knockout...its similar to Thailand and japan.

Cite some examples.
I'm not having a go.
But apart from Woods/Johnson....a close fight. I can't think of any in the modern era.
You can look for relaxed officiating Hatton/Tszyu, but Tszyu was dirty in that fight too. It was a very dirty fight.

Happens so often in Europe that people aren't even surprised anymore...
Now, Lee was taking a beating, but believe me, reverse the locale and nationalities of everyone involved and the response would be "hometown ref" all over these boards. It happens everywhere, all the time, no matter where you are. I mean, Foreman-Schultz is the main reason we didn't see Jones-Michalczewski, I feel. There's a million examples of foreign fighters getting robbed against US fighters, fighting in the US.
The US has historically dominated the sport of boxing, of course. But to say that no fighter can be considered great unless he fights in the US? No. Where you fight does not make you great, or disqualify you from being great. It's who you fight, and how you do against them, no matter where it is.
Sin, your threads are seriously getting old, weak and very transparent.

If you don't throw a punch back after the other guy has thrown 30, your ****ting on yourself.
Andy Lee's stoppage was worse.
