The only person I see unifying the titles at this very moment from the four champions is Wladimir, but there lots of fights coming up, if Ibragimov beats Briggs, I think Ibragimov also has a good chance. That Austin fight was a very bad fight for Ibragimov, was one of his worst performances so don't just judge it on that one fight.
    yeah you called it

but i did too, and i told you guys to bet on it...

Who said I didn't be on it. I'm almost right on boxing 70% of the time, including rounds and so forth.

The best was W. Klitschko vs. Sam Peter, those odds were ridicolous, like 2.5 to 1, Peter was favorite.

on the sportsbook i use the odds opened at 3.25-1 with peter as favorite...

i had never bet on sports before but i thought that was nuts and i put in a $2000 bet when they fell to 2.75-1....

i won 5500 bucks minus the juice, im still buying drinks for friends off of that fight myself

This is a good question, and frankly I don't know the answer.. I hope that Chagaev doesn't turn into one of these 1-2 fight a year hw titlists like Ruiz and Byrd were. I hope that he gets back into the ring soon and chooses a decent mandatory defense. I won't fault him for not wanting to fight Wlad or any of the other beltholders in his first defense, but don't want him to wait 6 months to defend his title against someone medicre.

Actually, I hope that he chooses Holyfield as his first defense. IMO, Holyfield deserves a title shot just as much as anyone else and would be a real challenge.

winning a questionable decision over fres oquendo and beating vinnie maddalone hardly warrant a title shot. holyfield hasnt beaten a top 20 guy in years. he doesnt deserve another title shot. he'd get beaten badly by chageav in a one sided fight. him getting a title shot at this point in his career would be a black eye for the sport

Holyfield looked pretty sharp in his last outing albeit against 'glorified' jouryman Vinny Maddalone.. Besides the current title-holders, who else do you think deserves a title shot and will provide a competitive and entertaining boxing match? Tony freakin Thompson? Luan Krasniqi? I think a Holyfield matchup would be more exciting and competitive than these guys?

I've seen Madalone before and he looked a hell of a lot better than he did vs. Holyfield. It was if he reverted to his Golden Gloves style or something. he looked like a complete amateur vs. Holyfield.

maddalone was beaten just as badly by shot blown up cruiserweight Al cole. he has no ability at all. if beating him easily warrants a title shot then something is seriously wrong with the sport. the last time holyfield fought a top 20 guy with some ability he was beaten badly in a one sided fight by larry donald and james toney before that. holyfield hasnt done anything to warrant another title shot. thats an obvious fact
