    Calzaghe and Warren

To be fair to Joe he`s always looked for the biggest fighters out there and I think his main problem is one man Frank Warren. Warren hasnt got the money to bring big fighters over to the Uk and is defo in the shadow of Bob Arum, Don King and Oscar De La Hoya. when Warren offers a fighter of Taylor`s calibre $4 million that`s peanuts to what he could earn in the US. as I said De La Hoya, Arum and King can make fights and give fighters in excess of 10 million a fight. Warren done the same to Ricky Hatton and it`s only since Hatton signed with Hobson that he has started to get his career into gear.

In my opinion It may be too late but Joe get rid of that waste of space Frank Warren.

The only good thing about Warren is to pad fighters records

I dont disagree. I DO think that Joe wants the big fights and I DO think that a lot of big fighters have ducked Joe over the years. But I also do think that Joe ought to leave Warren, he's been useless for him. The problem is that Joe is too publicity shy to go alone. As much as I wish he was in some respects, he's not like Hatton. He does need someone to make and publicise his fights for him and he's never known other than Frank Warren.

Taylor made $2.5million from the three fights with Hopkins and Wright (not each of those three fights but all of those three fights) and over $3million in his last fight because Ouma was on 20%.

No fight not involving Leonard, Tyson and De La Hoya has ever had a COMBINED purse in excess of $10million.

But thats without the pay per view figures. Frank Warren is offering $4 million with everything involved that`s not going to make Taylor come over to the Uk and fight a fighter in his backyard.

That's a lie. Taylor made $4.6 million for the Winky Wright fight alone.

LIARHAYES claimed he made $2.5 million for the three Hopkins/Winky fights combined. That isn't true, because he made $4.6 million for the Winky fight ALONE. Get it?

                I know what he meant.

$4.6m though, eh. So not quite double Warren's offer of $4m (or £3m depending on which you believe/read). Hopefully they can come to terms on that.

He made $4.6 million with a guy who isn't even considered a draw by most people. Joe Calzaghe is supposed to be filling stadiums in the UK. Warren could at least come up with $7 million or more to make the offer look serious...
