Which fights will be remembered as alltime classics 50 years from now?
I was watching De La Hoya vs. Vargas last night, again - and wow!
That fight has to go down as an alltime classic fight.
Both fighters were getting owned at different points.
Boxing, slugging, and a whole ****load of bravado.
Classic.
Vargas was fighting very stubborn and refused to defend himself on multiple occasions. He went balls to the wall, and it cost him dearly..
De La Hoya was sensational.
(..Although I must acknowledge Vargas was stiff and immobile - I.E. a very easy target - but he made himself that way. He thought Oscar couldn't hurt him.. Not exactly the case as we now know..)
Which fights of today will be classics tomorrow?
Give me 5 or 10 - as many as you can think of.
