This fight is nothing but a product of HBO's hype. Delahoya is no longer on top and it's his name more than anything else that sells his fights now.

Kball, you act like this is the biggest 'super-fight' to ever happen in the history of the sport. Well, here's some news: it's not. Ali-Frasier III or Ali-Foreman was bigger and commanded more coverage in the media than Floyd-DLH does now. You could also argue that the Leonard-Hagler fight was bigger.

So to answer your question. Yes, there will be super fights just as big as this one.

Outside of a bout that would completely unify the heavyweight titles(which will never happen), no there will never be a bigger matchup. Enjoy it while it lasts. Stylistically, we can still hope that Hatton/Mayweather happens.

You can throw Trinidad/Delahoya in there as well. I still believe that fight was bigger than this one until it's proven otherwise.

                And he doesn't get KO's?

He has a 50% KO ratio in his last 4 fights, and was very, very close to stopping Judah, which would of made his ratio 75%

Say what you want, but having a 50% KO ratio at 4 divisions above from where you started is very impressive.

People have very very short memories, just because he didn't stop someone who has a brick wall for a chin (Baldomir), doesn't mean Floyd doesn't have enough snap on his punches to systematically break them down over the course of 12 rounds, and stop them.
what i mean is that he isnt a KO puncher. And he hurts his hands so he never really pushes for those KOs.

Sure he gets KOs but they arent brutal and if someone is gonna pay to see a KO, they want it to be brutal.

Oh, and even though Baldomir has that Brick chin, Mayweather could have stopped him but he ran cause he hurt his hand. People dont want to see people run, hurt or not.

And Mayweather may win by that much, but everyone thinks DLH has a chance. RING MAGAZINE interviewed 20 experts, 8 had DLH winning and 12 had Mayweather winning.

no... no i dont. I dont act like that at all.

My question, and all i said, was is this the last superfight of all time, considering the state of boxing. Its a yes or no question.

I never said this is the biggest fight of all time, even though it quite possibly is. More people and more money is involved in this fight, then any of the fights u mentioned, btw.

And HBO never made a 4 part series for a fight before, that has to tell u something.

but i heard in one thread that DHL is forcing Mayweather to wear Reyes gloves and that is forcing a great sense of disadvantge espcaily comeing to a weight class debut against a punch like DHL and Floyd brittle hand problem

This fight to me is a big fight for boxing YES....but, man...I just don't see it as the super duper fight that it is being made out to be. It doesn't seem to me to be even in the same statosphere as Leonard-Hearns 1, Holmes-Cooney and CERTAINLY not the first Ali-Frazier fight.
