Even though this topic has been covered Miranda should've won. Most of the low blow calls were ridiculous. Abraham kept looking at the ref to bail him out most of the time when Miranda went to the body. And if you noticed when Abraham would put his guard up to protect his body at the same time Miranda would punch. While using the guard he would bend down lower making it seem as if he was getting hit low. You can't win fights backing/not throwing punches & on the defensive for most of rounds & flurrying at the end.

See below for a good example of a bad call that lost Miranda 1 point and gave Abraham a very much needed 5 minute rest.
At this point in the fight Abraham was very tired and looked like he may go down. What do you know, a little bit of acting and help from the ref and a free 5 minute rest. How nice!

This has been overdiscussed. Abraham came out of that fight looking bad, Miranda looking even worse.

The headbutt showed a complete lack of composure and intelligence, as did the low blows (yes some of them were legit).

Miranda looked good enough to sign a very nice deal with HBO.
Something very good came out of the fight for Miranda... We are still waiting to see what comes of Abraham.

I had Miranda winning the fight by a point, even after all the point deductions.

Anywho, I said it after I watched the fight the first time and I'll say it again: Abraham will NEVER be the same. Miranda took his heart and his soul in that fight and IF Abraham fights again, he will be but a shaddow of his former self.

Allan Green got his ass whooped saying the same thing. To even compare Miranda to Mayorga is unfair. Miranda is more powerful in his division than Mayorga was with his. Mayorga has won championships. Miranda has yet to scratch the surface. Miranda is a better boxer(yuh i said it) than Mayorga. Mayorga doesnt throw jabs. Miranda does eventhough it is far from spectacular.
