Yup, the fight should have been stopped after abrahams had his jaw broken. But the point is that it wasn't. And I feel that abrahams fought better then miranda and deserved the win at the end of the night. I'm not judging the fight like you guys who judge it because you feel like it should have been stopped. I agree it should have been stopped and its disgusting that it wasn't. But I don't agree that it was robbery, because abraham put one hell of a show on after having a broken jaw. And thats the only abraham fight I've ever seen, not saying he's good or anything. But I'm assuming since miranda's been fighting so many fights after that abrahams fight. That abraham won't even take a rematch with miranda since he probably thinks miranda will **** him up now. And yes, he probably will lose. But it would still be war unless, miranda breaks abrahams jaw again. Then it will be stop if the fight happens over here.

              Abraham vs. Miranda

Abraham deserved to win, he hit Miranda with a lot of clean shots. If Miranda had fought a cleaner fight he might have deserved a draw, but he hit with low blows, rabbit punches, and headbutts. He fought like it was a streetfight, but this was supposed to be a boxing match!

Abraham showed a lot of courage, fighting in severe pain with the broken jaw. He'll be back, and will be better than ever! Abraham will decisively defeat Miranda if they clash again.

I dont agree with the deductions and think Miranda won the fight by TKO in the 5th and by UD at the end.

                  yup

these type of things will always happen in boxing as long as their are no strict commision with set guidelines to follow, how can we have so much governing bodies, look at football(americans read soccer) they only have FIFA , cricket has only one ICC. Boxing needs one body where everyone only paids attention to that body, thats why i cringe when here posters boast about:he has the wbo, he has the wba, he has the wbc and the ibf and also watchout because the ibo is also creeping up and credible fighters are holding onto such as hatton and tarver will be fighting for it in his next fight, same way the wbo got credibility because fighters boasted with it, and larry holmes also boasted with the ibf which allow it to be a recognized one.

eventhough he went back to fight. Abe should have still ben TKOed. 10 minutes?!!!! they stuffed a whole towel rack in his mouth to help stop the bleeding. they acted like this was fan man part 2.

BTW will the Miranda Pavlik fight be 10 or 12 rounds?

if miranda pulls out a W and if Jermain Taylor fights Miranda, and mirands pulls of the upset against JT. We could have a rematch between abe and edison which would alos be a unification fight.
that's a lot of ifs. Personally, I'm not counting on him to get past Pavlik. Mierda is the middleweight version of Mayorga, arguably even less-skilled.

As for Abraham-Miranda - I thought the confusion was that Abraham thought he was going to win by DQ, or the fight was going to the cards, which was the reason he said he didn't want to continue. Either way, though, it's not unfair to say that he was looking to quit at that point.

Beyond that, I thought Mierda deserved to have at least 3 points deducted. 5 seemed excessive, but he was going low A LOT. The headbutt wasn't as bad as Abraham made it out to be, though his broken jaw perhaps magnified the pain of the blow.
