Ouma- Taylor was a worst matchup then Manfredo- Calzaghe.

I mean sure Ouma is more talented then Manfredo but he was much less of a risk to Taylor. He was featherfisted at 154 and even more so at 160, he hit Taylor with some big shots but It didn't even make Taylor blink. Taylor was so much bigger and stronger then Ouma it wasn't funny. Taylor is a great natural athlete while Ouma gets by applying constant pressure, which is the wrong style to fight Taylor with. Ouma had the perfect style for Taylor. Running in allowed Taylor to land big counters until he got tired and started clinching. All on top of that like Calzaghe, he was in his home-town. Ouma had no shot because he wouldn't have won a decision and didn't have the power to KO Taylor.

I think Taylor is the best Middleweight in the world. I cant see any other top Middles beating him. Although I think he lost to Winky the first time, I think he wins a rematch. Now if he moves up to 68 things get tough. Calzaghe toys with him for 12 rounds imo.

Spinks is the top man right now at 154, he's rated #1 by Ring Magazine, if Corey Spinks was a superstar this would've been a huge fight, the #1 154 pounder against the #1 160.
Yeah it appears to be a great fight. But if you really know Corey Spinks you realize it isn't, he is just too small. Why has Taylors people avoided punchers so long? Manfredo should still be at 154 probably, he has to force himself to get as high as he does they say. Karmazin and Jones are really good wins for Spinks at 154 and I am glad he is getting this payday.I am just sick of Taylor fighting 154lbs, I have bitched about it since he was fighting Bunema, and Marquez. They are hiding something it seems.

Ok Ill admit the fight with Ouma was complete bull****, but Im not hating on the matchup with Spinks. Its better than a fight with some unknown mandatory Middleweight. They are trying to build Miranda and Pavlik up so that matchup is out of the question. Theres nobody else to fight.

You are correct. Just look at his record and some reason they have been matching him up against 154lbs his whole career. This usually means something is being hidden. It looks much better than a mandatory 160 lb fighter you are right.

Spinks never had any power at any weight, Spinks wins is fight with his defense, will mostley running around the ring, I don't consider this an easy fight for Taylor.

Name me a fighter with a better resume then Taylor in his last 5 fights, because you can't.

He's fighting top guys from 154, don't make it sound like he's figing guys from 126, it's not much of a big difference between 154 and 160. Julian Jackson is considered one of the biggest punchers in the middleweight history, guess what he fought most of his career at 154.

He will fight guys like Miranda and Pavlik soon, I rather see Taylor fighting some top 154 pounders then what Hopkins did fighting many C level middleweights most of his career. Lets not forget Hokpkins 2 biggest wins came against guys who started their careers at 135 and 140. Hopkins became a superstar after fighting little guys and Taylor is getting bashed for fighting the top guys from 154.
