I can understand the criticism he gets for the way he fights. I mean he literally back peddals while he fights. He keeps his hands down too. Whatever hes not perfect, and I guess the fact that someone with so many flaws is champ bothers people. That and the fact that its widely thought that Winky won the fight.

I think all the hate he gets for his choice of opponents is uncalled for though. I mean he fight Hopkins twice then right after he fought the number one contender. Ive said it before Ill say it again. How many times does a guy take out the undisputed champion and then fight the next best fighter? Rarely if ever now a days. Not only that but it was WINKY that didnt want to fight a rematch. Jermain wanted a rematch immediately. If he wants to fight a couple 154 lbs its fine with me. Especially since both are probably top 5 in the division.

If you know anything about boxing you will never compare Manfredo to Spinks, do you even know that Spinks is rated the #1 man at 154, he's the man that beat the man.

The Taylor/Spinks fight is between the best from 154 and 160, both Taylor and Spinks is #1 by Ring magazine.

What we had with Calzaghe/Manfredo is a guy that was fighting a TV reality star who lost to Alfonzo Gomez Jr.

I'm sick and tired of people not knowing **** about boxing talking out of their asses, if you're such a Calzaghe fan you should be looking at his resume first before talking about a guy who in his last 5 fights have fough Hopkins twice, Wright, Ouma and Spinks next!
I was being an ******* comparing Spinks to Manfredo. I know Peter is not in Coreys league. But I meant Manfredo was a better opponent, based on size alone. Corey is a very small jr middleweight and has no business at middleweight. At least Peter had beat a B level fighter at 168, and a shot former contender. Corey barely has an wins at 154 let alone 160.

He has been fighting Jr Middles his whole career outside of Hopkins. A Couple? It has been much more than a couple.

While he is a very likeable and stand up young man.....I agree wholeheartedly with you.

Cory Spinks is coming up 3 weight classes from where he began. When he started his career he was a Junior Welterweight.

Did you know Manfredo is not a true Super middleweight, he was fighting at 154 not to long ago.

Spinks beat Roman Karmazin who was the man that beaten the man Ouma, Spinks has 2 wins at 154 against Roman Karmazin and Rodney Jones.

Spinks is the top man right now at 154, he's rated #1 by Ring Magazine, if Corey Spinks was a superstar this would've been a huge fight, the #1 154 pounder against the #1 160.
