lets start with andrade vs manfredo, who put up the better fight? who kept on fighting? who took huge shots and kept coming forward for twelve rounds? andrade, certainly not manfredo. who made his opponent work for his win, andrade. just because he was out gunned doesn't make him a slouch, plus he is a big puncher. so when you size up the competition andrade was a way tougher fight than manfredo, obviously.

When you size up the competition Lacy was a tougher fight than Andrade. Let's compare like for like. Kessler's flawless performance against Andrade was his best moment in the ring. Just as Calzaghe's best was against Lacy. There are many comparisions between the two fights. Punches were landed at will, the opponents lost every minute of every round, neither challenger was stopped... Calzaghe-Kessler is pick'em for me, with Kessler edging in terms of strenght and youth but with Calzaghe having had the better competition overall. -
fair enough, that is a legtimate statement and observation about lacy and andrade, but one thing about andrade that i'd take over lacy is that andrade was trying to fight and trying to get into exchanges, basically still trying to win. lacy got discouraged and had his heart and will broken in the ring and didn't know what to do other than try to survive, not really throwing any punches after the 3rd round, very one deminsional, not that andrade was a example of variety but at least he vaulted an attack the whole fight. i think there was more pressure from andrade and more of a threat, that and even though kessler was landing big shots, andrade didn't show or act like he was hurt, lacy on the other hand looked like he was going to lay down a few times . but all in all what you said is the closest to assessment so far as to equal opposition......................Comment

Joe Vs Kessler
Just watch a few Kessler fights and I gotta be honest,Hes fast has arrow shots and can move well, But I dont see Kessler beating Joe at all...Joe will beat him and Taylor would also...Just saying how I see it..If this fight went ahead it would be a good fight,I think the Taylor one would be harder for Joe because of the styles.

Yep he went 12 rounds with Andrade, thats the point.Could Andrade go 12 with Joe, I know he has a chin of steel but I THINK NOT. Andrade throws punchies which can be seen coming from like yesterday.Joe would have a looked at the this guys fights and said (well I am gonna sworm him with punches he aint even gonna have time reply) but he was still putting leather on kessler. (Question) Why was the upper cut not used?, If Andrade was in that fight with Joe he would have been hit with that all night long, Also a short chopping right hand. If Kessler is as good as you guys say he is then that fight was just for show. As I said before kessler is quick his shots are spot on and he moves well, But he aint taken out Joe out! Unless it was a sucker punch.

Kessler was seen laughing his ass off after the stoppage of manfredo.
Ross Greenberg from HBO is having a meeting tomorrow with the Kessler camp, trying to figure out which will be the way to go. My guess is they will try to make the fight against calzaghe happen.Comment
