someone who was born in a european country?

if russians are "european" than canadiens and mexicans are "american"

here is a map of europe, notice that russia is not a part

Europe Map—online, interactive map of Europe showing its borders, countries, capitals, seas, rivers and adjoining areas. It connects to information about Europe and the history and geography of European countries. Europe is the western part of the Eurasian land mass, Asia is the larger eastern part.

Why don't you use a credible source for your statements...

WTF would Canada and Mexico be America?

United States of America just means its a Country with States who have united in the American Continent...

But USA, Canada and Mexico are all in Northen America as a continent.
Alaska is way up north, but people who live there are still Americans no? lol

Russia spreads from Europe to Asia.. but most of it's population lives in the land of Europe.. and there are those such as Tszyu... who live in it's Asian parts...

Russia is half in Asia you dumb ****. Why the **** else would they have a border with North Korea?

Soprano, shut the **** up before you look even more uneducated even for a new yorker. Go look in any encyclopedia. Russia is a transcontinental country...can you process that big of a word? That means it is both eastern europe and north asia. Your mom give you an extra chromosome or something?

You're a perfect example of why americans rank 30th in scholastic aptitude.

Canadians are North Americans, but not US citizens, and therefore not "Americans". US citizens are ofter referred to as "Americans" and the US is referred to as "America", but the US is a country, not a continent.

Europe is a sub-continent of Eurasia, not a country like the US, and is made up of many countries. That map shows the Ukraine (the Klitschkos' home) but not Russia as part of Europe, because only western Russia is part of Europe, and whoever made the map didn't want to confuse people. However, many people in the Asian parts of the Russian Republic are ethnic Russians, in other words they or their ancestors came from the area in Eastern Europe that was the original "Russia". A European country, Russia, created an empire in Asia between the 16th and 19th centuries. During that time European countries like Spain, France and Britain were creating empires in other parts of the world.

Oleg Maskaev is an example of someone born in a former Soviet Central Asian republic, but is an ethnic Russian, and now has returned to Russia and taken Russian citizenship. Maskaev, Povetkin, Boytsov and many other Russian people consider themselves to be Europeans, while Tszyu probably considers himself to be Asian.

That Marciano's record is padded as well.. and all the big names on his resume.. were WAY OVER their prime when he fought them..

That's like Valuev now fighting and beating Tyson McCall Holyfield Toney which now he will and then adding all these names to his resume[/B].
                  you serious?.

the one i knew that was out of his prime was joe louis when he fought marciano.

That's not what I said... I said this is what the article was about.

                    Here it is:

But what gets lost in the trips down memory lane is the fact that Rock's resume pales considerably in comparison to his record.
Any notable wins on Marciano's resume came once he became champ, all against fighters on the downside of their career. Jersey Joe Walcott was approaching 40 when he conceded the championship to the Brockton Blockbuster. Depending on which set of birth records are accurate, Archie Moore was either rounding 40 or already past it when he became the last ever fighter to face Marciano in the ring, in 1955.

Ezzard Charles, perhaps the greatest light heavyweight of all time and a damn fine heavyweight in his own right, was on the slide when he twice fell to Marciano. The rematch with Roland LaStarza was less about the latter earning a shot at the title (which he didn't) than it was righting a past wrong. Much as many argue Valuev should've already been dealt losses against Larry Donald and John Ruiz, there were very few who believe Marciano deserved the split decision nod over the Bronx-based paisan in their first bout 3½ years prior.

That means ****. 99% of americans are ethnically from elsewhere in the world but are still american. Russia is half in asia, just deal with it or send russia an invite to the EU.
