But in reality, regardless of who Wlad fights Wlad fans will watch him.
I understand that Brew in this stage is still a live challenger, but I dont think this victory will truly erase the L on his record.

.....It will be erased more than Lennox erased his loss to Oliver McCall.

If HBO has a July date set for this match, then there's no reason why Brewster can't fight a tune-up in the interim. The IBF shouldn't sanction this fight until they've seen how good or bad Brewster looks against a lessor opponent.

Why is everyone here so eager to send Brewster to get slaughtered by Klitschko?

Cause, sadly, it seems to be the best fight available for Wlad, prolly the most challenging.

hahaha did you know that I was white and Irish Mickey Ward was one of my favorite fighters of all time? Marciano is in my top 5 favs of all time as well, the town I grew up in is 20 min away from Brockton, Mass.

I think you're right. He makes excuses for a potential Brewster loss, saying it won't mean anything if Wlad wins. Yet according to him, Brewster's previous win means a lot, and he comes down on Wlad's fans for suggesting Wlad may have been drugged during the last fight.

Brewster is a top heavyweight and should be strong and healthy after the long rest, and Wlad should be healthy after his easy wins during the past year. Both are in their prime boxing years. Whoever wins this fight deserves full credit, so lets have good sportsmanship and give Wlad full credit if he wins! It's an excellent matchup and should be a great fight, that's why HBO has been pushing for it to happen.

Yeah if Lewis can erase his loss to McCall with a win over a broken drug addict who happened to share the man's name, Wlad will definitely more than even the score with a win over a passed prime Brewster, especially a knockout victory.

...He is a white athlete. He actually supports alot of white athletes as well. Just not Wlad in this situation.

Is Lamon Brewster past his prime? He's only 33, the same age as Valuev!

He's younger than Briggs (35), Ruiz (35), Krasniqi (35), Vitali (36) and Thompson (35). He's much younger than Maskaev (38) and Skelton (40).

After Wlad KO's Brewster, as an excuse, people will talk as if Brewster is 43 years old.
