Who's talking about America? It's a big ****ing world out there, although you septics wouldn't credit it. If Kessler wants to get to Calzaghe, I can't think of a better opponent than Froch. There easily a big enough European market for Calzaghe-Kessler so, quite frankly, the american money could get to **** from that point of view.

As for Froch not being a mandatory, isn't he now #1 contender for the WBC given Andrade's defeat and Bute's targeting of the IBF?

Everybody's talking about America, but you. Calzaghes reason for not wanting Kessler is that he isn't well known in America. Fighting Froch will do nothing to enhance that. You don't think Kessler fighting Hopkins would give him a better chance to lure Calzaghe into fighting him? (provided he beats Hopkins of course)

Kessler has two world titles. If Calzaghe's entitled to go to America (which has yet to do anything but talk about) to fight big names for big bucks, then so is Kessler.

Kessler just defended his WBC belt, which means he's due to defend his WBA belt next. So whether Froch will be WBC #1 and proclaimed mandatory challenger or not, remains to be seen. If and when he's a mandatory, I'm sure Kessler will fight him, unless he can get a bigger fight, like Calzaghe or Hopkins.


Edit: Oh, and do you truly believe Calzaghe would fight Kessler if he beat Froch? I certainly don't.

Silly fool. The US has over 1000 forward bases around the world and basically levels entire countries in a matter of days. I'd say Top Gun is almost non-fiction.

Calzaghe IMO will not fight Froch, and if he does he will lose. Froch has a deal with Golden Boy for Future fights in USA.
Look at Calzaghes record he fights bums and midgets, i just cant see how he will beat Froch. Calzaghe IMO has seen his best days as a fighter.
Froch is the future, and will fight in USA again.
