Calzone is 34 years old and already talking about retirement. Hm, sounds like he doesn't have the right stuff to be an all time great. I wonder if he really has brittle hands or he just keeps breaking his well-manicured nails.
I already set you straight on this. Dont go around posting virtually the same thing in numerous threads. Thats just annoying.

What a shame that Valuev with "break" Marciano's record. I guess such padded records mean something among the lower standards of Euro fight fans, but here in the Mecca of boxing Calzone and Valuev will fade into obscurity while Hopkins and Marciano endure in the Hall of Fame.

Calzone and Valuev in the HoF? That'll be the day Ruiz is inducted.

If you dont think that Calzaghe will make it into the Hall of Fame, then you're an idiot.

If Valuev breaks Marciano's record and defeats two truly legitimate title-holders or contenders along the way...then so will he be.

LOL you must consider Bika a great fighter. No wonder you think Calzone is anything but another above average Euro fighter destined to fade into obscurity.

I bet you think Andrade is king ****.

Now that is funny. Calzone has yet to fight any great fighter to even merit a distant claim to true greatness, so he tries to ride Hopkins coat tails to fame since he is too scared to fight in America, too scared to unify his division, too scared to become champ of a higher weight class -- all requirements of boxing immortality.

Resign yourself to mediocrity Calzone. You belong with Valuev and his ilk. I know, maybe Calzone with challenge Sergio Mora next!

All I have to say is: Antonio Tarver, former light heavyweight world champ.

Name one fight on Calzone's record that compares to that. Lacy? lol

You seem to be missing the point.

Calzaghe and most likely Valuev WILL be granted a place in the Hall of Fame. You can pretty much take that for granted, regardless of what you or I might think of it.

To say that Calzaghe hasnt earned his place when you consider some of the other people who are in there is bordering on moronism.

You're not making a good start to your posting career here.

LOL, yeah because Tarver is soooo physically disadvantaged!

By the way...when is Calzone going to fight at light heavy? Heavy? Oh nevermind, he might hurt his poor feminine hands.

I refuse to believe that Valuev will get in the HOF. Maybe Calzaghe but he would have to beat a string of the best fighters out their for a few more fights. Beating good opponents but not elite opponents doesn't get you in the HOF.

                      Does it not?

I think that you'll be pretty hard pushed to find someone who was top dog in their weight division for over a decade, who ISNT in the Hall of Fame.

Its not exactly the toughest venue to get in to.
