How exactly do you duck someone by taking better fights instead? The Baldomir fight was much more lucrative and Baldomir was more proven than Margarito. Floyd then goes on to make the biggest fight in the sport. It's ducking only if you choose a lesser fight and PBF clearly didn't do that...

Thats kinda debateable.. I would personally Pick margarito in a fight with Baldi just on power alone.. Baldomir is hardly a world class talent..

And who's to say Margarito is world class? I will take a win over Judah (2 division champion and formerly undisputed at welter) plus the RING championship over Cintron (an unproven fighter who choked in the spotlight) and a paper title...

As far as skillset, I think they're equal. But at the time Baldomir had the bigger bargaining chip (RING championship and lineal title), same payday as a Margarito fight, and Floyd wouldn't have to deal with Bob Arum. As I said, it's not a duck if you're fighting someone of the same caliber...

Floyd has never fought anyone half Tony's size. Corrales at 6 foot looks like a lollypop compared to him, and Tony could be a Light heavyweight.

Only Floyd can be accused for ducking when he decides to fight the LINEAL and RING Welterweight champion of the world, who had just beat Judah and Gatti, and for more money than what was offered for the Margarito fight.

In fact, if Floyd didn't fight Baldomir and instead beat the **** out of Margarito, you guys would be calling him a paper champ, who just beat an overrated, unproven fighter in Margarito.
