    1). The guys werent bums.

2). The guys were hardly boasting about it.

3). EVERYONE gets knocked down in training/sparring. You fight too many rounds not to ever slip up.

Sparring is when you get knocked down so you can learn to avoid mistakes that lead to you getting knocked down.

Interesting. Yeah, anyone can be knocked down. No one's made of iron. If Vitali twisted and injured his knee, it was a genuine injury that caused him to give up the title then. So he was right not to go through with the Rahman fight if he wasn't fully fit.

Yeah this doesn't mean jack ****. He's never been knocked down in the pro ring so who cares? This could just be a bunch of bull**** or not, but in the grand scheme of things, it means absolutely nothing.

I'm not sure I'd so easily pass this off. It's not a contract of doom, signed in blood, that Vitali is going to get knocked out in the ring. I'm not saying it spells anything certain out for his future. It does, though, point out that two seperate men were able to hurt him quite badly. Usually sparring partners can't do this. Yes, a boxer gets a sparring partner to learn and teach him to avoid his mistakes. Still, these men who were not quite at the level of those he was fighting, were both able to put him down. So badly, apparently, he hurt his legs going down. I think it does mean something about his physical or mental state.

It was at Terry Clyburns pound for pound Gym not La Brae Gym. On Wednesday Butler wobbled Vitali so they pulled him out and put in Walker. Walker dropped him with body shot. Vitali said he twisted knee going down but still continued workout. On Friday the day I actually witnessed, Vitali had knee sleeve brace on but was able to spar with it. After about a minute or two Butler caught him with big shot to chin and dropped Vitali hard. when Vitali got up he said he hurt his knee worse going down. He stopped sparring. However next day ,I was not there, I am told he sparred with Ed Mahone. He then pulled out of fight next day claiming severe knee injury. For those that dont think this happened I would point out Vitali has his sparring filmed. If this didnt happen wouldnt Vitali camp release tape as proof when story first hit media in 2005? Also pictures of Vitali campaigning in Kiev for mayor were on internet next month after supposed injury yet pictures didnt show him with brace, cane nor was his campaigning seemingly hampered. You can believe this or not but it happened. Anyone at Clyburns can confirm.
I wont belive it till I see it

Butler and Walker not bums. Both National Golden Gloves Champs, Walker 2003,Butler 2004. Walker also made it to Olympic trials where he lost controversial decision to Jason Estrada. He beat undefeated Estrada as a pro. Butler is huge puncher. He has knocked down 27 of 29 opponnents he has fought. Example he knocked down Cornelius Ellis 4 times in 4 minutes, same Ellis who went distance With McCall ,Chambers(close majority decision) and Alonzo Butler. Raphael Butler weakness is only fair chin and sometimes underachieves but has lot of natural talent. Both men really big. Butler 6'3andhalf,250, Walker 6'4" and 245.
Maskaev never knocked Klitschko out, they stopped the fight cause Klitschko used his injured hand

maybe raphael butler will celebrate this accomplishment by getting knocked out yet again by a no-hoper

as for walker, the story should be that he actually hit something besides the air... if he can land a punch he could knock anyone down, that wouldnt surprise me one bit

lol,,,,no oleg didnt. vitali was told not to use his right hand becuz it was injured and he was scheduled for a more important fight. so his corner stopped the fight when he used it anyway to prevent further injury. nice try though clown

My friend's wife works at UCLA and she told me that Vitali Klitschko had two surgeries there, one of them at the time of his fight with Rahman. She saw records herself. He was injured, and pulled out of the fight.
