Warren: If Calzaghe Beats Manfredo, Then Kessler Is Next

I hope this will silence the conspiracy theorists saying he was ducking Kessler. Shocking how many were saying such stuff with no evidence to back it up apart from the fact that the fight hasnt taken place......YET! Yes, Warren saying this doesnt mean it will happen, but it shows that the man is NOT ducking Kessler!

It doesn't show a damn thing untill a fight is actually made.
Warren's been so full of sh.t in the past. We need substance before drawing ANY conclussions.
Even IF he's serious there lies a long rocky road ahead before an agreement can be made. Negotions more likely than not, to break down along the way.

Nevertheless it's a damn good sign to finally hear Warren talk about Kessler as a real possibility. Chances of the fight ever happening have certainly gone up. But they've gone up from very close to zero. Realisticly they are still slim.

You know what, i dont even know the answer. Its just that i dont look at Kesslers opponents and say wow if Joe beats Kessler Joe is phenomenal - because Kessler imo hasnt beat any great opponents really. I want to see him against Froch to be honest.
The reason why is because if and when Joe beats Kessler, Froch will be in line wanting a shot at Joe. If Kessler could beat Froch it would show me Frochs limitations and if Joe can beat Kessler he wouldnt have to waste time with Froch. Bit long winded my answer to you.

Or if Froch beats Kessler, Calzaghe wouldnt even have to bother facing him. Froch would be a bigger fight anyway if he'd beaten Kessler.

Your probably right if Joe were to win people would downgrade Kessler to being crappy and Joe not beating anybody really good. Im not a huge Calzaghe fan, but if he were to beat Kessler it would be a great win. Kessler i thought did what he had to do against Andrade and did it in impressive fashion.

i want this fight to happen but kessler needs a tune up against a top 10 guy like lacy first or mundine, or maybe even the reaper of runcorn before he's ready for calz. kessler is good but calzaghe is a real step up from the guys he's been beating

Alot of Calzaghe fans act like Kessler has fought no one, I will like to know who has Calzaghe fought??? Come on now you guys are acting like Calzaghe has beaten many great fighters, an old Eubank and an overhyped Lacy is his 2 best wins in his career!
