I am not saying that he is right, since I dont believe in Briggs much myself, but he can make a case for that standing as well as any other. -
Horrible choice for him. And old ass foreman beat the **** out of briggs. End of case. But foreman was robbed. Plus, he lost to a bunch of nobodies. Like who the **** is darlyin wilson or whaever his name and that svensk guy... Wow, briggs sucks... And wilson and svensk or whatever the hell their names are have laughable records.Comment

I bet my life that ibragimov beats his ass. Hell the two crappy fighter briggs lost to are the same hight as ibragimov plus had a bad record. Briggs sucks ass, he not good. He couldn't even compete with an old george foreman.
Shooting up on steroids and lifting weights all the time doesn't make you good. It makes you slowComment

Yes, Shannon Briggs has only ever defeated two "top 50" heavyweights, according to the IBO website's statistics, Lyakhovich and Foreman. One of those should have been recorded as a loss - 48 year old George Foreman was robbed. Briggs was actually beaten by Sedrick Fields, who has 31 losses on his resume (22-31-2). Shannon made a fool of himself at the 1996 Olympics, being completely outclassed, dominated and quickly KOed by Felix Savon.
Shannon Briggs is the worst heavyweight titleholder in the history of boxing. If Ibrigamov doesn't beat him, it will just mean that Sultan sucks too. But because Ibrigamov is a top 25 heavyweight, although not in the top 10, he should prevail. I rate Sultan as about equal to Jameel McCline (who won an easy UD over Carrot Top) so he should have no problem defeating Briggs.Last edited by Steelhammer86; 05-16-2007, 09:35 PM.Comment
