Does having a thick physical beard really help one's chin?

I just read up on it.. It can cause problems with Cuts and get in peoples eyes.. I could find nothing that says it cushions the blow.. hence why it is lagal in pro Boxing..

I don't think a beard will do u any good..but I have heard something that may help ur chin is if u bulk up ur shoulders and do some neck exercises..heard it makes it so ur head won't snap back as easily and be all disoriented
