going to have to disagree there. The way to fight Briggs is to fight on the outside and slightly outwork him. To come at Briggs and make him fight is detrimental to a fighters health. Briggs is a masterful counter-puncher and Iggy is just going to get laid out. Same goes for Brock, he will force Briggs to fight and Briggs hits harder than Wlad does, just not as accurate or robotic. Sure Briggs will wear down, but he is in pre-camp at the moment and for the love og God his trainers and everyone have been trying to get him to run. Iggy is a good fighter don't get me wrong, just he has a bad style to fight Briggs.

briggs has power no doubt but its not on the level of wlads,,,briggs hasnt stopped any good durable opponents unlike wlad. sure,,,,,he has the power to take sultan out,,,,but I think sultan survives some scary moments early and batters an exhausted briggs late. should be a great fight regardless of who wins

Beez, my man I am willing to put a nice little friendly points wager on the fight. Liakhovich is better than people think and is durable. Chris Koval was only stopped once before against Thomas Hayes I believe and Hayes caught him cold. Wlad hits hard no doubt, but after talking to a couple guys who have fought both, the word is Briggs has more pop, but less accuracy and is not as intimidating to fight. So we respectfully disagree, I have no qualms about that, and after June 2nd one of us will be validated.

Calvin Brock will probably be a title holder at some point in his career. For the record Briggs hits harder than Wlad.Briggs has one punch ko power while Wlad gets his ko's by accumulation.

Even if somehow Holyfield won the HW Championship again, he is going to retire. So were right back to where we are now. I don't see Brock, Briggs, or even Byrd as A+ caliber. To me it doesn't matter where they are from. I'd just like to see an Undisputed HW Champ. WBO doesn't count in my book. IBF, WBA, WBC are the oldest boxing titles. Larry Holmes gave the IBF credibility.

            My 2 cents worth.

what you say about povetkin compared to the americans is true, but he is also close to 28.. wlad is going to be around for 4-5 years at which point povetkin will be 33 himself.. flores is 28 also.. banks is only 24 still so he is ahead of flored pace and on par w/ that of povetkin as far as getting a world title shot... i watched some video on youtube of flores since we were discussing this same thing the other day, he looked good in the minute or two it took him to knock out whoever he was fighting.

yea,,,,I respect your opinion as well. we'll just have to agree to disagree. it should be a great fight between the two. style wise it has to be. I think sultan stops briggs between rounds 7 and 10 after surviving a few scary moments early on

vitali was the accumalation ko puncher. the majority of wlads knockouts have been one punch shots. 2 common opponents between wlad and briggs are mccline and botha. wlad knocked them both out while briggs got beat by mccline and drew with botha. that doesnt exactly make briggs appear as the harder puncher by any means. most of briggs knockout wins are over tomato cans

Flores will probably be fighting an ancient (42) Arthur Williams next. I don't like this fight for BJ, not enough of a step up. I have been trying to get his management to sign Emmanuel Nwodo. Nwodo hits like a freight train and will prepare BJ better for the top opposition than Williams will, and Nwodo is more than a live underdog. But appareantly Nwodo isn't rated high enough. Hey what do I know huh. Banks he has been fighting middle of the road types since the Castillo fight, and talks have been going on with him stepping up soon as well. I've been lobbying for Shaun George or the winner of Godfrey/Cora Jr. However, my say in that is beyond miniscule, as for Flores I carry some weight.
