True he beat Wlad already ,but something was wrong with Wlad that night. That was more about his conditioning and something being wrong with his body . I think he knocks out Brewster within 3 rounds if they fought again.

wow. no one on here has mentioned Tarver yet. He'd be a smallish heavy, but he has skills. And that could be enough against Briggs(duh), Oleg and Valuev. And maybe Rahman can get his **** together.

Well Tarver has a lot to prove, fist he has to prove he is not totaly shot and that he can still fight against the elit. For him to fight at heavyweight is to push it to much, he has first to prove he can still compete with the best at lightheavyweight. And at 38, everything about him and his future is a big IF.

Brock will obviously hold a belt at some point in this sad division. Here is a name that hasn't been tossed out though: Johnathan Banks. He got exposed a little bit against Castillo on FNFs a while back, and he is a cruiserweight for now, but he has obvious gifts and he will move up to heavy at some point. He certainly seems to have some heart too in coming back against Castillo in that wildly entertaining fight. He has a chance at least.

I think he'd do well against Maskaev.

I'd like to see Calvin in against Hasim, in June.

Briggs is still a titlist and will hold onto it for little while longer. Brock can challenge Valeuv and Maskaev for their titles, he wouldn't do well against Briggs. Holyfield will lose against a B-level heavy or a B-plus. WHoever said Isiah Thomas, well, he was GREAT at the junior level but since he has stepped up the results haven't been the same. But Kenny Weldon is high on him so he has to be at least decent. I have a lot of respect for Weldon's critique and analysis. For the young guys coming up, Well Chambers, Arreola, Walker, Chapman, Scott, and Marrone are picking up their game now and in about a year or so one of them will become a front-runner and I guarantee at least one will a good heavyweight. As for the cruiserweights, the best bet is BJ Flores over Johnathon Banks, and Matt Godfrey doesn't carry the punch but he is a skilled boxer. All of this is for not because Alexander Povetkin will dominate them all. Some will present a stylistic challenge, but he is a nightmare for all who oppose him.

****** thought, considering that there IS an American Heavyweight champion.
Tony Thompson is dece, along with an in shape, eye healed Brewster and Calvin Brock could all be titleholders.

briggs is going to lose in his 1st defense in russia. I'd also favor brock to stop him late
