what blew my mind was how at one time when the showed the punches thrown and landed
    around round 9 i think
they were dead even on thrown
and only 1 off on landed
    i was like damn
as if it wasnt enough the age weight height reach were so similar

      That was also a trip!

      Nobody mentioned that here.

I was knocked out by that when they posted the graphic.

I think this thread is pretty interesting in itself, showing the good and the bad side of NSB these days. Some people speaking complete sense, others speaking complete nonsense

How could you have a 9-8 round with a kd and a point dedeuction?

C'mon guys we've all watched enough boxing to know that question doesn't require an answer!

Ah, when the guy who scores a knock down gets a point deducted?

think hes sayin might as well use common sense and understand that both cancel one an others importantce out
            so its like neither happened
            point wise
that KD was very important to MABs case of winning the fight, pickin his shots

Ok on my second viewing my score was different by one point. Before I had the first round for Barerra, but after watching it again, I thought it was even. So my final score was 116-113 instead of 115-113.

              Things I noticed:

In a replay of the knockdown you can see Nady in the corner of the picture, and he CLEARLY is in perfect position to see the punch land. I dont know what his problem was with that.

JMM finished a lot of exchanges with the last shot, usually a left hook to the head. He also made Barerra pay when he dropped his hands. When Barerra won rounds, it was when he avoided punches and sticked the jab. I can see how someone could have it 116-111 now, but still it was close enough to warrant a rematch.

Te knockdown makes it a 10-8 round for Barerra and the point deduction makes it 9-8. Unless you make it a 9-9 round since Marquez was winning the round easily until the kd.

                Its an interesting round.

I had it 115-112 Marquez. Fixing the fiasco of the 7th round, I had it 113-113, Draw.

This was the type of fight where they both won. They both looked awesome, technically sound and plenty of heart. Very good fight

I really would rather see JMM vs. Pac rematch rather than and immediate MAB vs. JMM rematch. Neither of these guys are getting any younger, especially if they were to keep fighting each other. Make MAB fight someone else for his going away fight...some up and comer...Valero? hmmm

What would be pretty funny is if MAB went and tried to beat Raheem, just to spite Morales. hahaha. definately wouldnt happen tho, altho i can see him doing somethign like that or along those lines.
