Having just finished watching the fight for a second time I scored it 116-112 for Marquez. First time round I had it 117-111 for Marquez but i was also 4 in the morning and I had 12 stella's down me

watching it live, i scored the bout 115-112 for Marquez. On second time watching it, i scored it 117-111. Did you guys notice that Barrera was trying to intentionally headbutt Marquez like 4X in round 12... MAB is a BAD SPORTSMANSHIP... he should accept the defeat and look for an rematch.

The Pac fight is the key observation there is no difference! Marquez didnt deserve a 10-8 round it should have been 10-8 for Barrera! The idiots who said it should have been 9-8 for Barrera.............what rules are you judging by????????????????????

Is it the case, though, that a flash knockdown for a single punch means an automatic 10-8 round? I mean Marquez was on his way to a 10-8 round himself for completely dominating the first two minutes and 45 seconds. Now because he got knocked down you couldn't reasonably call it a 10-8 round, but it's still clear who won the round. The KD was a flash KD, so Marquez won the round 10-9 but loses a point for the KD, so that's 9-9 even. Then Barrera loses a point for hitting while Marquez was down so you get a 9-8 round.

barrera won the fight, he should have got a knockdown, and he threw more and landed more punches, he was robbed!! the judges were horrendous on all 3 fights tonight!!!!

marquez did not whoop barrera, it was a close fight and i have watched that fight about 6 times, and i still think barrera won by 1 point

I like Barrera,but he can be a little ***** when things aren't going his way.

i love barrera as a fighter, great great fighter but theres some times i hate him, for example in the countdown to marquez barrera he says that erik morales gave him a medal because he knew he had lost, when erik moraleshas said thatwhat he really said is that he thought it was a draw(because of the bs knockdown) and a very very good fight and thought barrera deserved some recognition cause he fought a great fight.

then he said morales wanted him the third time cause they thought he was shot, truth is morales's people forced him to fight him, morales didnt want to cause he thought he had won the first 2 fights, and you can seee how ill disposed morales was for that 3rd fight, he was head hunting through the first 5 rounds wich ultimately costed him the fight...

plus hes dirty when he's losing......

To me it looked like JMM definitely won the fight. Not by the wide margins that the ringside judges had it, but i thought he won. He threw the more effective punches and had good ring generalship.
