Good call mate! I was impressed by Barrera because he was clearly adapting to the fact that he didnt have the same stamina anymore! Marquez for me wasnt very impressive! Plus I think Barrera has shown that his chin is weak!

But honestly marco did need to lose a point for hitting a man while he was down. Point being taken away is ok there. Rules say when a fighter hits the floor (slip or knockdown) you can't hit any more, there is no warning needed to take points away. (Note jmm was also hit while on the floor in his 3rd knockdown againts pac, pac lost no points)
But that's also a knockdown so that should of been a 9 8 round. But jmm did have a good round besides being dropped. I don't know if I'm allowed but I made that a 9 9 round.

Over all I think I had it 113 114 for marco, but some rounds could of gone either way, I can say a close victory for jmm is decent scoreing
The Pac fight is the key observation there is no difference! Marquez didnt deserve a 10-8 round it should have been 10-8 for Barrera! The idiots who said it should have been 9-8 for Barrera.............what rules are you judging by????????????????????

becuase it was kd so it should have been 10-8 but there was a 1 point deduction so it was 9-8. As simple as that and no need to talk about my boxing idiocity lol!

I think i was the first one to mention the pac insident. Just makeing it clear that I didn't mean to try to start a pinoy vs mexi thing.

I just wanted to state that nady did the right thing by takeing a point and not DQ mab, but he schould of also scored the knockdown. Even with that all that I thaugh a 9 9 round would be fair, jmm won most the round knock down made it mab round. And take point away from mab for bad punch.

Barrera is one of the greatest fighters below 135 of all time.

That being said, I think we all know he won't fight JMM again. He openly said he didn't know and that he would spend time with his family.

The fight was great, but is this the fight everyone wants to see again? Because for one the most juicy fight in boxing in my mind is Pac v.s. JMM II.....outside of Floyd v.s. Oscar. That might mean more to boxing than a rematch of tonight.

Also, I'll bet on JMM beating Barrera again, perhaps by knockout.

                    it was close
                    but ya Marquez won it
i mean its an odd thing to say
it was close but still a clear winner
if it wasnt for the KD thered be less debate
but the fact is barrera was landing one punch at a time
while marquez was using effective combos
