there is absolutly no evidence that this is going to happen so i wish people would stop criticising him for something he hasnt done yet, bit silly if you ask me.

It would be great if the announcement came out and was:

Calzaghe pulls out of Manfredo bout
Lined up to fight Bernard Hopkins in Vegas

      That would quieten some people.

I want this thread remembered so that the clueless morons can apologise when this fight does go ahead as planned as when Calzaghe murder the Manfredo who apparently 'has a great chance of upsetting him'.

People tend to have this belief that Calzaghe is avoiding the big fights, but i think you'll find that plenty have avoided him. Still, at this stage in his career i would prefer to see him fight Kessler, Froch (if only for the british fight fans), and Hopkins (in my dreams!)... Like i've said though... Easier said than done.

            Why would anyone apologize?
There reactions are based on the fact that the source is true, which it probably isnt.
And should they apologize because they think Manfredo has a shot at an upset???
            Get real.

Thats the problem with Joe fans, many of them (like you) are so obsessed that they believe he is unbeatable and cannot lose.
            Its ****in annoying.

I think Miksterious is referring to the fact that they waited until it looked like there was not going to be a fight to say Manfredo would win. I never heard anyone claim this until now.

I dont believe that at all, so you can cease your assumptions and generalisations...they make you look like an idiot.

Here is the problem with the Calzaghe 'haters'. They see some blatantly bull**** news like this and are so desperate to attack Calzaghe for whatever reason possible that they then come out with "Calzaghe is a *****, he shouldnt be a fighter if he doesnt want to fight. He is ducking Manfredo just like he ducks everyone else blah blah blah". Its reactions like this that give posters on this forum a bad name. Idiots reacting like idiots to completely made-up news rather than waiting until some reasonable source confirms the news. They should apologize when this news is proven to be false because thats what you do when you over-react to something and are incorrect in doing so. The fact that these people will most likely just not mention anything about their moronic reactions and forget about the matter, leaving the whole forums looking like nothing that is said here is worth listening too. Its a poor reflection.
