Boxing is a sport, sports are supposed to be about competition, about proving you are the best. Somewhere the boundaries as to what makes you 'the best' got blurred and we now consider 'the most financially profitable' to be 'the best'.

That's all nice, but all fighters are hoping, wanting, and needing the paycheck to clear so that they can live a good life.

Boxing will take something out of you, so you better take something out of it.

Your popularity from being a Winner can get you many things, especially Free, but Money has always been the best thing to have just in case.

After all, you need food, your kids need food, house, etc.

Yes SIN is right this time, it is OUR fault that we pay to see the **** fights sometimes rather than demanding what at least some of us know to be the real fights.

Anyone with a job will tell you they'll take more money for an easier day's work. I'm not going to lie and I'm not in what I do for just the money.

Fighters can't blame their promoters either since the Promoter really works for the Fighter, who works for the Fans.

Promoters are overrated anyway, they get to much for little.
