that was one thing that pissed me off about lewis.... after not fighting for a year, he was gonna come back and fight kirk, the guy that just lost to ruiz.... kirk was completley unworthy of a title shot.... as we saw, lewis wasnt even training hard for the fight with kirk....

end of the day lewis beat him fair and square, thats boxing

if he retired because he might get beat then so what, you guys all take the piss out of holyfield sayin he's past it, so why reverse your opinions on lewis... just mad to totally contradict yourself just cause you all bum vk and dream that he is better than lewis

is this all because your heavy weight division is shot of talent

danny williams has a chance against vk, maybe not to bigger chance but there are ways he can win it

if he lasts more than 5 round then i can see an upset, vk will tire because of his stamina problem, especially if he is hit to the body often enough

i cant see vk knockin him down early rounds either, unless he becomes as powerfull as tyson and pounds on him like in the tyson fight.... but even that wasnt enough to stop danny

COME ON DANNY, BRING THE HEAVY WEIGHT CROWN BACK TO THE U.K

      ENGLAND 3 : AZARBAJAN 0 - ROONEY , OWEN, ROONEY

Lennox's camp chose Kirk because of his unbeaten record and the fact he hadn't been stopped before. They did it as a easy defense and maybe a warm-up before fighting Vitali but when Kirk pulled out they just thought to bring the fight forward.

kirk had already been beaten by ruiz, he was not undefeated... he also had a draw with al cole.... he in no way deserved a title shot

The first is a Danny who is laid back and his mind seems to be elsewhere or you get a focused Danny who is actually quite a aggressive fighter who can cause shocks by exceeding your expectations in him. I have no doubt that he is taking this fight very seriously and i most definatly don't think that he will get blown away easily like most people think too. My prediction is that if Vitali hasn't got rid of DAnny in 5 rounds then there could be a potential upset but the question is will Danny last the first few rounds. He seems to warm up more the longer the fight goes on so it should be interesting.

As we know Lennox hyped Sanders up alot to promote the fight and make Vitali look better than he is. Sanders fought like a warrior but lets face it, he was unfit and looked like a very old fighter. I don't think Lennox hates Vitali at all, i just think in this circumstance that Lennox would like to see a fellow Englishman win the heavyweight crown like most people do from the UK. As for the Vitali and cuts i don't believe Danny should be looking for that, Lennox hit Vitali with some huge hits and the power Lennox hit him with Danny simply doesn't have. I think he could hope for a points decision and a TKO of some kind but i would be really shocked if he KO'd Vitali, w have more chance of Bill Gates giving us all one million each. Of course we all have to keep the open mind that it is boxing and anything can happen.
Hey Wez! Remember how buddy-buddy Lewis was with Sanders before his fight with Vitali? He wasn't after Sanders was TKOed. What a jerk!

I can respect the fact you limeys are rooting for your countrymen, but seriously Vitali is not gonna Stand in front of him drop his hands and let Danny boy unload 20 shots!!! This ******* got KTFO by Sam for christ sakes! You think he would have KTFO Vitali? I forsee a blow out VK by KO or TKO, remeber the champ has a 97% KO rate 97***IN%!!!!!!!!!

Funny how he tells him to do the exact same thing that he did in order to beat Vitali without which he would have lost.

as great a champ as lewis was
Work the Cuts? wtf is that ****
As far as i can remember the only fight where cuts played a role in vits fight was against lewis
                    now hes prone to cuts?
does he know williams is fightin klitschko and not gatti?
for being such a knowledable veteran lewis gave some dumb ass advice
                    so general
you could tell that to any fighter about t fight anyone
"hey dis guys been cut b4 try to cut him, cuz other then that you have no ***in chance. ok heres what ya do cut him with a clean punch but i ya cant then tape a razor to your glove and cut him. we'll need to put ur hair in braids or dread locks whatever the *** i have so you can make the cut worse by rubbin those cornrows in his eye. and thats how you'll beat vitali. o and remember to plop down on your stool the last round, thatll help convince people you wer ejust warming up and getting ready to finish him"

I cannot dispute things like that but he was a friendly reserved person outside of the ring.
