    Movies are about making MONEY.

I would say that if you build yourself up in other fields, you can skip the bull****.

It is "Acting", not rocket science.

There are a ton of actors who have been acting a long time, yet they are not very good "actors"

there have been actors that never acted in a movie before, yet have done well in their first movie.

Sam also likes to play the same role over and over, "Angry Black Man"

I agree. There's a perception based on returns that unknown African American and Minority actors are unsafe gambles for prominent film roles. They favor rappers and singers because they believe their fanbase will come onboard with the project. It's a shame if you ask me.. There are tremendous talents losing roles to rappers I'm sure... A waste.

It's up to the Director, Producer, and Actor to convince the Studio.
You can't blame the Studio for not taking a risk when Money is involved. I don't like it, but I understand it. I love seeing new talent. That is why I like sports, they are more about believing in "if you are good, you will sell tickets"

I would find a new unknown talent for the role of Hopkins. I would keep looking until I found the right person. No rush in making a movie about Hopkins.

It is also easier to lose yourself in the movie if you never saw the actor before. Unless of course it is a "Great" actor who is versatile/believable.

I hope this movie can capture the story more than the "Tyson" movie did a few years ago.

But the bottom line has ****ed everything up though now hasn't it?

This generation will have no true achievement or advancement because of it.

Okay, he said he's patented (he meant trademarked, but oh well) the name of his movie and that he'd like The Game to play him. That's almost about it. I can go and get the tape of Hopkins talking if you need me to. Which guy were you?

His first album came out in 1987. Quincy Jones decided to make the Fresh Prince series (which debuted in 1990) after seeing Will's "Parents Just Don't Understand" video in 1988.

This was maybe way before your time JR. but "Parents Just Don't Understand" was like 15 yrs. before Will even dreamed of being "The Fresh Prince" Ugh........Yeah. Sooooo he's a rapper/actor. B-Hop should get the guy from the Blade series. He use to be in Onix; you know Sticky Fingers.

Actually you're wrong because when he rapped his name was The Fresh Prince

Sticky Fingaz is a good choice, he's a decent actor and he's very charismatic and sharp. However, he may be too big for the role. Also, he's not that much of a huge mainstream celebrity anymore, so if they want a rapper or a famous black dude they won't get him.
