Hes following the footsteps of his dad. His dad had like 20 fights against guys who were 0-0, and didnt fight a live guy until he was 40-0

Chavez sr took a long time, but he did eventually beat almost all the top fighters in his weight classes, and beat them, and when he was loosing to Taylor, he never stopped punching, and thats why he got lucky, a true champ does not stop fighting. Chavez had lots of great attributes, but no one brings it with them EVERY time, but he did enough. I think Jr has a great shot, and who cares how long he takes to fight a known guy, if he does not ever, well, we wont worry, we will only care when he does.

Nahhh, I dont think he will be that good. He will probably end up as a gatekeeper type of fighter, or a lesser champion like Lovemore Ndou. I have watched him fight, and I just dont see "IT".

I saw JCC Jr on versus late one night and he looked pretty good, but he was up against a soft opponent. I want to see him up against Mike Alvarado a home state favorite of mine. Mike beat the guy JCC Jr had a draw with. I hope they fight soon.

I'm not saying that he's as good as Tito, I'm just saying that his STYLE is very similar to that of Trinidad's. He throws the left hook almost identical to Tito's and his right hand over the top looks better and better every fight I see him in.

He won't be fighting a contender for about another year, probably, which, at his pace, is about 4-5 fights, but he'll fight some recognized fighters in 3 fights, I'm sure of it. Bob Arum is trying to move the kid along now and I think he's tired of just seeing him fight guys from Cleveland and Minnessota.

I like the Kid, I like his style and he's fun to watch. He'll step up when he's ready. I think the kid has a bright future ahead of him.

There will always be Haters, especially when it comes to Chavez Sr and Jr.

I dont think so, I think tito was more tentative in his style and in a way was more like a sniper, patiently waiting setting up to land the big shot that would put his opponents in trouble.

Jnr looks more like constantly working.

P.S. he looked cut up and more solid and better balanced in his last fight. He even backed up and used the jab a few times.

The title of the thread should have read some like this: Chavez Jnr's Style reminds me a little of Tito.

NOT: Chavez Jnr is the next TITO. With a Thread title like that you're leaving ya self wide open for the counter.

                    Please give Tito some cred.

he's a fey(meximerican) boy that is making money living on his daddys name.
he's beat lined up tomatoe can club fighters. this guy is sick, diseased mentally, less than a lacky.
