Well that might be true, so I'm giving props to Manfredo for taking this fight. It's make or break for him really, but the most important part is he willing to take the risk.

    No PAIN No GAIN baby!

agreed, hes not any more overmatched than many of the recent bull**** title challengers and while he may get ass ****d in this fight he is not going to sufer a brutal one punch KO, which is what really destroys a fighters confidence.

If a fighter gets a chance at a championship fight, he should take it. I can't blame Manfredo for doing so. And I don't think it would come as a great chock to Manfredo if he lost.

This is a no-win situation for Manfredo and Calzaghe. If Calzaghe wins it wont mean anything and Manfrdo will be laughed at and if Manfredo somehow magically wins then people will just talk about how **** Calzaghe is completely disregarding Manfredo.

I like Manfredo though. If Joe is gonna lose his title to a yank I'd like it to be Manfredo.

im sure Manfredo would KO GOMEZ in a rematch. Early to.

                  He's a different fighter.

And i think he'll pull a malignaggi, and really boost his stock in a valiant losing effort
